Title: Who is the Christ and what is He?

We normally think of Jesus when we hear the term Christ.   Most often the two terms are paired as in Christ Jesus or Jesus Christ.

We know that The Christ is our Saviour, Lord and King.   But the concept of the Trinity waters down the effectiveness of that confession as we allow for two other `persons` to be co-honored with The Christ - the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Since the Word states quite clearly that the Creator is One Lord the question is: From where does the concept of the Trinity arise?

The reasoning goes something like this:
    God is eternal
Jesus came into being 2000 years ago
    God is the Father
    Jesus is the Son
    Fathers always come before Sons
Ergo the Father is greater than the Son having come before Him and begotten Him.   That which comes before must be unique from that which comes after.

So, we see that our concept of time (beginning, middle and end) creates the necessity of having three persons involved in what we refer to as `the godhead`.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against the Lord: for it is not subject to the law of the Lord, neither indeed can be.
The Lord is a Spirit.     He does not relate to the animalistic tendencies of man because that mindest cannot grasp the value of His laws and so cannot live in them.

It is in carnal, rational thinking, ignoring spiritual revelation, that we get in trouble.   That which is heavenly must be absorbed by faith in the eternal Word and eternal Spirit and not by earthly logic.

Invariably though, human beings will elevate rational thought above revelation when, in fact, faith requires us to do the very opposite.

The following scriptures reveal heavenly, spiritual Truth.   They have been in the Bible for 2000 years but have been conveniently ignored in favor of semi-rational trinitarian theology.   I say semi-rational because trinitarians end up saying that we can`t fully comprehend the concept of the Trinity.

Jesus said that you will know the Truth and the Truth will make you Free Indeed.   He said that He is the Truth.   He said that He sets us free.
Bondage results from ignoring or rejecting the Truth.

Holy Spirit Father, I will that they also, whom you have given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which you have given me: for you loved me before the foundation of the world.
Jesus is eternal.

The disciples saw, spoke with and touched the risen glorified Jesus.

We who are In Christ by the New Birth are already with Christ spiritually.
But when He returns we will be with Him physically forever.

And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
In His mind, Jesus was slain for our sins in the beginning.

Because of his control of the world financial system he will effectively have the attention of all people, demanding and receiving obedience to all his edicts, and enlisting and gaining their trust.
In other words, they worship him.

Who truly was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
The Holy Spirit ( Spirit Of God) knew that Christ's sacrifice would be necessary and preincarnate Jesus (the Soul Of God) agreed to be that sacrifice.

But when the fulness of the time was come, the Holy Spirit sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
The Holy Spirit ( Spirit Of God) imparted Himself into human flesh and the Soul Of God was manifested In Christ Jesus.

And no man has ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son Of Man who is in heaven.
The eternal Soul Of God (the Word) was made flesh and dwelt among us.     But the Soul Of God was still in heaven, even as He walked the earth.     Upon His resurrection, He took His physical place in the throne of Majesty.

For he whom the Holy Spirit has sent speaks the words of the Holy Spirit: for the Holy Spirit gives not Himself by measure unto him.
The eternal Holy Spirit ( Spirit Of God) imparted the eternal Word ( Soul Of God) into human flesh whom we call Jesus.

Jesus is the embodiment of the Holy Spirit, speaking the Words of the Holy Spirit and doing the works of the Holy Spirit.

Only in Jesus' finite body is His Holy Spirit limited.

If we are to be effective in preaching, teaching and witnessing to the Gospel of Jesus Christ we must give Him all praise, glory and honor both now and forever.
You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for you have created all things, and for your pleasure they are and were created.
Only the Lord is worthy of worship.     His creation should never by worshipped even though there are millions of people around the world who are environmentalists, Nature Lovers, Earth Lovers and Animal Lovers who never give the creator the time of day .

The Lord's pleasure is to give the kingdom to His heirs In Christ Jesus .

Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
Jesus is worthy.     He is the only one who is worthy.     His Holy Spirit Father has glorified Him with all power in heaven and earth .      Jesus will reign forever and ever.

Jesus is the righteous judge who will judge the living (believers) and the dead (unbelievers) .

And every creature who is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sits upon the throne, even unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
Who sits upon the throne?     The king.
Who is the king?     Jesus.
What is the lamb?     It is a role that the king played for the purpose of salvation.
Only one can sit upon the throne.
So the king and the lamb are the same person - Christ Jesus.

The phrase 'unto him that sits upon the throne and upon the lamb' tells us that the Holy Spirit is the one who deserves 'blessing and honour and glory and power' for His work in the lamb, Christ Jesus.     Note the use of the words 'unto' and 'upon'.     We give worship unto the Holy Spirit through worshipping Christ Jesus upon whom the Holy Spirit has given glory.

Many people attempt to find the Lord and worship Him.     But the Holy Spirit ( God) cannot be found except through the person of Jesus who is the Strait Gate and the Narrow Way.

Every creature that has ever lived will one day praise the majesty and His lamb.

Jesus is no longer a lamb.     He is Mighty God.     When reference is made of Him on the throne and Him as the lamb, we need to understand that the one on the throne is the lamb.     But His role as lamb is finished.

Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our Lord for ever and ever.     Amen.
The End Of The Age marks the close of Satan's reign over the earth through evil men.     It is a time of great rejoicing as the enemy is now cast into a pit.

And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto our Lord Jesus Christ:
represent a view of the glory and joy that results from our Lord's return.     The calling to the Marriage Supper is the rapture that occurs as soon as the Lord appears in the sky and the last trump is blasted.

describe the Day Of Wrath that immediately unfolds as soon as the bride is taken up from the earth.

We must forsake all others and follow Him
And every one that has forsaken houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
We lose nothing in giving to Christ, rather we receive back a hundredfold in this live and most importantly we receive Eternal Life.

.   In case there is still any uncertainty about who and what The Christ is, hear what Isaiah prophesied about Him:
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Lord Almighty, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
This conflicting description of a single being could not have come from a rational mind.     It came from the Holy Spirit who would fulfil these words in Christ Jesus.

Jesus was born of woman and His Holy Spirit and so He is the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father.     This means that the Father begat Himself!

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Jesus.     Jesus is the body of the Holy Spirit.     We are made in the image of our Creator.     We are Spirit Soul And Body and so also is our Creator.     His name is Jesus.

Jesus is the Spirit Soul And Body of our Creator.
Jesus is Lord!
