You have heard that it has been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: - Mat 5:38 This law is good because it controls evil by the threat of equal evil .

The light of the body is the eye: if therefore your eye be single, your whole body shall be full of light .    - Mat 6:22 Singlemindedness is good .     Doublemindednes is evil .      When we are singleminded for Christ we are full of light and provide a beacon to others of His glory .

But if your eye be evil, your whole body shall be full of darkness .     If therefore the light that is in you be darkness, how great is that darkness !    - Mat 6:23 If you allow darkness to be your focus you will be evil .

And why behold you the mote that is in your brother's eye, but consider not the beam that is in your own eye ?    - Mat 7:3 Objectivity is not possible for the Carnal Minded person.     Only Spiritual Minded people can look at themseelves and their neighbor with the same objectivity.

Or how will you say to your brother, Let me pull out the mote out of your eye; and, behold, a beam is in your own eye ?    - Mat 7:4 Without the Wisdom of the Holy Spirit operating in and through us we are incapable of operating on anyone else.

You hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of your own eye; and then shall you see clearly to cast out the mote out of your brother's eye .    - Mat 7:5 Objectivity is necessary to see the beam in our own eyes .     Objectivity toward ourselves comes by the Holy Spirit and Truth .

Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.    - Mat 9:29 Since they asked for Healing and they said yes about believing He could Heal them, He simply touched their eyes .      It was their own Faith that Healed them.

And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.    - Mat 9:30 Jesus managed His fame knowing that when it reached a crescendo, He would be taken and crucified .

For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.    - Mat 13:15 God cannot help someone who does not want to be helped.     The dull ears and eyes are metaphors for Hearts that are not interested in God .     When a person draws near to God, He draws near to them.

But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear .    - Mat 13:16 The Disciples Eyes and Ears were open because they desired God .

And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.    - Mat 17:8

And if your eye offend you, pluck it out, and cast it from you: it is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire .    - Mat 18:9 Physical Lusts must be subjected to the Spiritual goal of Eternal Life .

And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God .    - Mat 19:24 Wealth is the greatest Idol that Humanity worships .

Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with my own?     Is yours eye evil, because I am good ?    - Mat 20:15 Everything is a Gift from God .     He owes us nothing.     When He promises us something, He will deliver it to us.     How He handles others is none of our business .

They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.    - Mat 20:33 When a person states their need to the Lord, they are putting themselves in His hands.

So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.    - Mat 20:34 Jesus had Compassion on them., touched their eyes and they were Healed .     They then followed Jesus .

Jesus says unto them, Did you never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes ?    - Mat 21:42 The builders are Israel .     The stone is Jesus .     The Father has made Jesus the chief cornerstone.

And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy.    - Mat 26:43

Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: - Mar 7:22 All of these Sins and more proceed from the Heart of the Wicked .

Having eyes, see you not?     and having ears, hear you not?     and do you not remember ?    - Mar 8:18 Naivete is childish .      Jesus was expecting His Disciples to grow up in their Understanding of the chasm between Good and Evil, I am sure they did not have the same Opinion of the Scribes Pharisees Hypocrites as Jesus because their Spiritual Eyes were not open.     They saw through Eyes of Flesh which told them that those Scribes Pharisees Hypocrites were the wealthy, elite, prominent, powerful people in their Society .

And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.    - Mar 8:23 Jesus takes the man out of the atmosphere of Doubt and Unbelief where He can minister to his need .     There is a Physical component to Jesus' actions for this man because of the nature of his condition - he cannot see Jesus .     He has not seed Jesus do Healings and Miracles .      Does he have Faith or is he just there because his friends want him Healed ?

After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.    - Mar 8:25 Because the man could see a little I am sure the light that was now hitting his retina for the first time was piercingly bright.     To look up into the sky would make the piercing deeper and more painful, But, he obeyed in Faith, As a result, his eyesight was restored perfectly.

And if your eye offend you, pluck it out: it is better for you to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: - Mar 9:47

It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God .    - Mar 10:25 Jesus is talking about experiencing the Kingdom Of God here on Earth .     The Gift of God is Eternal Life, but Abundant Life comes through Transformation of our Minds to the Mind Of Christ .

This was the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes ?    - Mar 12:11 By marvellous He means strange and unbelievable that God would be rejected by the very people He had created, called and blessed .

And when he returned, he found them asleep again, (for their eyes were heavy), neither knew they what to answer him.    - Mar 14:40 Still disconnected from what was coming down.

Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word; - Luk 1:2 Luke says he gathered his information from eyewitnesses of Jesus' ministry .

For mine eyes have seen your salvation, - Luk 2:30

And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down.     And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.    - Luk 4:20

And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be you poor: for yours is the kingdom of God .    - Luk 6:20 There is no Blessing in being Poor .      They were poor in spirit - they were hungering and thirsting for God .

And why behold you the mote that is in your brother's eye, but perceive not the beam that is in your own eye ?    - Luk 6:41 Focus on your Relationship with Christ so that you will be able to lead others.

Either how can you say to your brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in your eye, when you yourself behold not the beam that is in your own eye ?     You hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of your own eye, and then shall you see clearly to pull out the mote that is in your brother's eye .    - Luk 6:42 Edification operates in Love .

And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that you see: - Luk 10:23 All of us who have seen and Received the Light of Jesus Christ are wonderfully Blessed .

But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, - Luk 10:33 Compassion is Love in action .

The light of the body is the eye: therefore when your eye is single, your whole body also is full of light; but when your eye is evil, your body also is full of darkness .    - Luk 11:34

And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and sees Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.    - Luk 16:23 Reality kicks in at Death .

And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but struck upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner .    - Luk 18:13 Mercy is extended to the repentant Heart .

For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God .    - Luk 18:25 The Kingdom Of God is a Spiritual Place that we enter into by Faith .     Most Christians will not enter it while in the Flesh because of the level of commitment it takes.

Saying, If you had known, even you, at least in this your day, the things which belong unto your peace !     but now they are hid from your eyes .    - Luk 19:42 Because they did not Receive the Truth, the Truth was taken away so that they could not Receive it.     The Holy Spirit reveals the Truth and draws people to Christ Jesus .     He stopped drawing those who rejected the Truth .

But their eyes were held that they should not know him.    - Luk 24:16

And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight .    - Luk 24:31 The breaking of Bread with Blessing opened their eyes .

Say not you, There are yet four months, and then comes harvest ?      behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest .    - Joh 4:35

And he that was healed knew not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place .    - Joh 5:13

When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he says unto Philip, Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?    - Joh 6:5

When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, - Joh 9:6

Therefore said they unto him, How were your eyes opened?    - Joh 9:10

He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight .    - Joh 9:11

And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes .    - Joh 9:14

Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight .     He said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see .    - Joh 9:15

They say unto the blind man again, What say you of him, that he has opened your eyes ?     He said, He is a prophet .    - Joh 9:17

But by what means he now sees, we know not; or who has opened his eyes, we know not: he is of age; ask him: he shall speak for himself .    - Joh 9:21

Then said they to him again, What did he to you?     how opened he your eyes ?    - Joh 9:26

The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvellous thing, that you know not from where he is, and yet he has opened mine eyes .    - Joh 9:30 Stick it to them for their intentional Unbelief .

Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind .    - Joh 9:32

Others said, These are not the words of him that has a devil .     Can a devil open the eyes of the blind ?    - Joh 10:21 Honest, Common Sense speaks through these people .

And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died?    - Joh 11:37 They could Believe for Healing .

Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid.     And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank you that you have heard me.    - Joh 11:41 Jesus thanked God for answering the Prayer before the manifestation .

He has blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.    - Joh 12:40 The result of rejecting Jesus Christ was that a blindness settled over the eyes of the people as they hardened their hearts against the Truth .      It appeared that God did this to Israel, but they did it to themselves.      Otherwise, Jesus would not have wasted His time preaching and teaching them.      See notes from Exo 4:21

These words spoke Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify your Son, that your Son also may glorify you: - Joh 17:1 When God does something special for us He is glorifying us.     We are to glorify Him through our Testimony .

And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.    - Act 3:4 Eye contact enables us to read a person's Soul .     As Peter gazed into his eyes he saw expectation which is an aspect of Faith .      When the lame man looked into Peter's eyes he saw the Presence and Power of God .

For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought.    - Act 5:36

After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed.    - Act 5:37 Deceive, Perish

And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: - Act 9:3

And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.    - Act 9:7

And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus .    - Act 9:8

And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized .    - Act 9:18

But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise.     And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.    - Act 9:40

Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.    - Act 11:6

Then Saul, (who also is called Paul), filled with the Holy Spirit, set his eyes on him, - Act 13:9

At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me.    - Act 26:13

To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.    - Act 26:18 These are the Words that Christ Jesus spoke to Saul on the road to Damascus .     It was Saul's marching orders and it is ours as well.      Every human being is born in darkness .     There is only a glimmer or two of light in us.     We have The Measure Of Faith and we have an awareness of creator God .     So, each of us In Christ have the responsibility to show forth the light that Christ has given us.     When we do, people are set free from bondage where they are being held by the power of Satan .      When a person receives Christ Jesus by Faith they are forgiven, Born Again, sanctified and made heirs with Christ Jesus of all that is the Father's.      This verse tells us that there must be a turning from darkness (self-worship) to light (worshipping God) for the forgiveness of sins to be received .

For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.    - Act 28:27

There is no fear of God before their eyes .    - Rom 3:18 In order to escape the Condemnation of the Sin Nature and Judgment, they deny God .

But God be thanked, that you were the servants of sin, but you have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.    - Rom 6:17 The Doctrine is that the Sin Nature is Dead and the New Spirit being is Alive .

But they have not all obeyed the gospel .     For Isaiah says, Lord, who has believed our report?    - Rom 10:16 This is the puzzler.      Why would anyone refuse the Grace of God ?

(According as it is written, God has given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.    - Rom 11:8 No one comes to Christ except the Father draw them by the Holy Spirit .

Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.    - Rom 11:10 Again, unless the Holy Spirit draw a man to Christ Jesus he is blind to the Truth .

But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love him.    - 1Co 2:9 This does not just Speak to what awaits us at the End Of The Age .     It also Speaks to what is now available in Heavenly Places In Christ Jesus .      We cannot See with our Physical Eyes what is available to us in Heavenly Places .     But we See them clearly with Spiritual Eyes - Eyes that see the Word of God as the Truth about our existence and God's Provision for us.

And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body ?    - 1Co 12:16 The members and systems of our physical body all serve one being.     In the same sense we are all of one body .

If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing ?     If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?    - 1Co 12:17 We must appreciate each other or else we are not in unity and behave as if we are not of the body ourselves.

And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of you: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.    - 1Co 12:21 We cannot know how God is using another member to accomplish His purposes because He has revealed it only to them.

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.    - 1Co 15:52 When the Last Trump sounds the dead in Christ shall be raised and translated along with those who are alive .      This will happen in a moment of time .

O foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ has been evidently set forth, crucified among you?    - Gal 3:1 It would take the bewitching of Satan to undermine a New Creature into believing that they are somehow responsible for their New Life .

Where is then the blessedness you spoke of?     for I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, you would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.    - Gal 4:15 Their desire to receive and bless Paul as a minister of the Gospel of Grace by Faith had brought them to the place where their compassion for the injury to his eyes made them want to give him their own.

The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, - Eph 1:18 When your understanding is perfect you can visualize what you know .      → You begin to see into the Spirit Realm the Truth of God's Word by revelation of the Holy Spirit .      → You begin to fathom what it means to be In Christ, to be a joint-heir with Christ .      → You begin to be an effective witness for Christ because of that revelation .

Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; - Eph 6:6 Serving only when in the spotlight is what a man pleaser does .     But a Good Servant serves from the Heart .

Wherefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.    - Phi 2:12 Paul is speaking to Soul Salvation which enables us to experience Abundant Life in the Soul and Body and to be effective Witnesses of Christ Jesus .      Soul Salvation must be worked out by us.      Spirit Salvation is the Gift of God by Faith in Christ Jesus .

Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God: - Col 3:22 Servants should serve as unto the Lord .

Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do .    - Heb 4:13 The Holy Spirit is Omniscient.

By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing where he went.    - Heb 11:8 Abraham left his home and family to go where he knew not by Heart Faith .

Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters you are, as long as you do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.    - 1Pe 3:6 'Keep the Tradition' is a very Jewish concept.

For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil .    - 1Pe 3:12 Doing Evil is ignoring God in decisions and lifestyle.

For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty .    - 2Pe 1:16 Now that is a Testimony .     He saw the Lord before He was Crucified .     He saw Him on the Cross .     He saw Him after He was raised.     He saw Him taken up into Heaven .     And at the end of his life, Peter is encouraging others in the Lord .

Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: - 2Pe 2:14 Users of Religion for gain.

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; - 1Jn 1:1 John was an eye witness of our Lord Jesus Christ who was with the Father in the beginnning.

But he that hates his brother is in darkness, and walks in darkness, and knows not where he goes, because that darkness has blinded his eyes .    - 1Jn 2:11 Hate and Love are incompatible.     The Holy Spirit is Love .     If He is in us we cannot Hate .

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world .    - 1Jn 2:16 We are Spiritual Minded and no longer Carnal Minded .

Behold, he comes with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him.     Even so, Amen .    - Rev 1:7 Jesus will not return secretely.     When He returns the whole world will know it.     Those who have rejected Him and aligned themselves with Satan will wail because their deception vanishes in a moment .      The sheep (wheat) and goats (tares) will be separated ( Mat 25:32 ).      Those who wail at His appearing are goats (tares) .      The goats (tares) are those people who heard the testimony of Jesus Christ and who knowingly and wilfully rejected Jesus Christ .     They will be bound in bundles and burned to death physically ( Mat 13:30, ) where they will await the resurrection of the unjust and the the White Throne Judgment .     - Rev 20:11-15 The sheep (wheat) will be divided between believers and unbelievers (those who have not yet heard the Gospel) .      Those who are dead in Christ will rise first and then we which are alive and remain will be caught up in the air, translated from corruptible to incorruptible ( 1Th 4:16 ).      We will descend with our Lord to earth when He sets foot on the Mount of Olives.     - Zec 14:4 The Millennial Kingdom will be established and we will rule and teign with Him.     - Rev 20:6 Those unbelievers who have not heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ will continue to live on earth in physical corruptible bodies during the Millennial Kingdom .     They will see Christ Jesus on His throne and have opportunity to become believers .     - Zec 14:16 Zec 12:10 .

His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; - Rev 1:14 His eyes indicating the presence of the Holy Spirit .

And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things says the Son of God, who has his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; - Rev 2:18 The message to the minister in Thyatira is from Christ Jesus .

I counsel you to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that you may be rich; and white raiment, that you may be clothed, and that the shame of your nakedness do not appear; and anoint your eyes with eyesalve, that you may see .    - Rev 3:18 How do we buy from Christ ?      By giving attention, by repenting, by renewing our minds .      It is in our worship of God In Christ Jesus that we exhibit our appreciation for what Christ has done for us.     When we appreciate Him, He opens our eyes to the light and truth, filling us with His Spirit .

And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.    - Rev 4:6 The four beasts are four ministering spirit beings who have a different appearance from angels .

And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, LORD God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.    - Rev 4:8 These beings are full of praise and honour to Christ Jesus .

And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth .    - Rev 5:6 In the midst of the throne (which is the majesty of God the Holy Spirit) we see Christ Jesus, the almighty God as a lamb, reminding all that He is the perfect sacrifice for sin .

For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes .    - Rev 7:17 We cannot imagine existing without sin, sickness and death on every hand.     But such is our reality in His presence .

His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself .    - Rev 19:12 He is no longer the lamb but He is King and Lord of all.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.    - Rev 21:4 Now this is Heaven !
