We are totally dependent on reaching people through the Word Of The Lord. It is the Truth. It is revelation, It is salvation, It is victory, It is peace, It is love. It is joy in the Holy Spirit.
Our minds must be TRANSFORMED by the Word.
Conformity is good when it is to the Word and the Holy Spirit. Otherwise it is evil.
In order for the New Spirit being to manifest in our flesh, we must be transformed in mind, emotions and will (our soul).
When we are transformed we receive the wisdom and power of the Lord to do the work of Christ Jesus in our mortal bodies.
What is the good and acceptable and perfect will of our Lord? → It is that none perish 2Pe 3:9, → it is that all be healed 1Pe 2:24, → it is that all prosper 3Jn 1:2.
How is the Lord's will proved? → By the manifestation of evidence. What evidence? → salvation, healing and prosperity.
Hence, the only thing holding us back from experiencing the best that the Lord has for us is our minds.
Let the Mind Of Christ be in you. - Phi 2:5
Most folks just `know` some Word. Jesus said " hearing, they hear not". Until the Word enters our hearts and changes the way we think and see, we do Not have Word-produced faith.
Y`in, y`out?
We must go "all in" on the Word for it to produce faith.
Just as food is necessary for Physical Life, the Word Of God is necessary for Spiritual Life. the Lord is a Spirit so we can only relate to Him in Spirit and in Truth by faith. We need the Holy Spirit of the Lord and we need the Word Of The Lord.
The life of the New Birth proceeds from the Word of God.
But, the Holy Spirit waits for us to release His power. We do so by faith in the authority of Christ and His Word and courage to operate as Sons Of The Holy Spirit.
Wishful hoping is not faith. Total confidence in the Word is faith.
Jesus answers them very succinctly by telling them to believe with Holy Spirit faith.
Jesus did not come to show off and then leave us in awe. He came to: → clean us up → teach us → empower us → to be like Him.
Jesus is telling us to operate in the supernatural faith of His Holy Spirit.
Note: The word 'in' is not in the original Greek phrase which the KJV translates as 'Have faith in God'. It should have read 'Have God faith' or 'Have the faith of God' rather than 'faith in God'.
Since we know that God is Spirit (making Him the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus), this phrase should best be rendered as 'Have Holy Spirit faith'.
Remember, Faith is one of the Spirit Fruit.
Unfortunately, this is another example of how the 'God being' was given an existence separate from the Word and Holy Spirit as a result of the translators' trinitarian concept of the Creator.
Jesus goes on in this passage to tell His disciples to just speak (word) and believe ( Holy Spirit faith) and their desires would be met. There is no indication that some other being is involved in the process.
Even, the 'when you pray' statement of Mar 11:24 is misunderstood to reference a 'God being' when Jesus instructed us to pray to our Heavenly Father who is His Holy Spirit in us.
But, You cannot even know God, much less have faith in Him, except through His Word.
All of humanity has a desire to know God. Religions were created in the search for God.
God reveals Himself through His Word - written and incarnate in His Son, Jesus.
To "have faith in God " You must know Jesus and You must be transformed by the Word of God.
Pour yourself into God by pouring His Word into your mind and heart.
Faith Will arise! power will manifest!
