And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow you wherever you go.    - Mat 8:19 Zeal is important but counting the cost is necessary.

And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eats your Master with publicans and sinners ?    - Mat 9:11 Their Fear of contamination and fear of losing reputation for such actions prompted this question.

The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord .    - Mat 10:24 Order is as aspect of God's Character .

And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, care you not that we perish ?    - Mar 4:38 Perfect Peace is ours in Christ Jesus regardless of the raging that may be going on outside of us.      The fact that the Disciples took Jesus' passivity as a lack of care is telling.      People who enjoy drama make everything worse than it is.     They stir the pot.     They are not so much interested in solutions as they are problems .      Jesus' calmness was because He knew who He was and that nothing could come against Him that God had not given Him to the Power to handle.     The Disciples were not so Confident in God or even the man whom they were following who had performed great Healings, Miracles and Deliverance .

While he yet spoke, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said, Your daughter is dead: why trouble you the Master any further?    - Mar 5:35 ' Give up - It is too late'.     The Enemy (in the person of his friends) urged Jairus to give up.

And Peter answered and said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for you, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.    - Mar 9:5 Peter always had something to say and do .

And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto you my son, which has a dumb spirit; - Mar 9:17 All Demons are dumb in that they serve Satan and so have lost connection with their original purpose .

And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in your name, and he follows not us: and we forbade him, because he follows not us.    - Mar 9:38 Denominationalism being birthed right here.

And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples says unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!    - Mar 13:1 Man has built some magnificent structures around the World and the Temple in Jeruslem was one of such structures along with those buildings around its court-yard.

Watch you therefore: for you know not when the master of the house comes, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: - Mar 13:35 Jesus will Return when most are not expecting it.     So Watch !

And wheresoever he shall go in, say you to the goodman of the house, The Master says, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples ?    - Mar 14:14

And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life ?    - Luk 10:25 This question gets to the issue of plessing God .

Then answered one of the lawyers, and said unto him, Master, thus saying you reproach us also.    - Luk 11:45 Yeah, I would call that reproach.

And one of the company said unto him, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me.    - Luk 12:13 The man brings a legal battle to Jesus .

When once the master of the house is risen up, and has shut to the door, and you begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not where you are: - Luk 13:25 Jesus is the Master of the house and He controls the door.

And when she had so said, she went her way, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Master is come, and calls for you.    - Joh 11:28 Martha walked away in the midst of Jesus revealing His Power over everthing shifting her attention to her sister.      Distractions, lack of Focus and Unbelief rob us of the riches of His Grace .

You call me Master and Lord: and you say well; for so I am .    - Joh 13:13

If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; you also ought to wash one another's feet.    - Joh 13:14

Jesus says unto her, Mary.     She turned herself, and says unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master .    - Joh 20:16

And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: - Act 16:16

And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers, - Act 16:19

Nevertheless the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship, more than those things which were spoken by Paul.    - Act 27:11

Who are you that judge another man's servant ?     to his own master he stands or falls.      Yes, he shall be held up: for God is able to make him stand .    - Rom 14:4 At the end of the day, no one is responsible to you.     They are responsible to Christ Jesus their master .

According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another builds thereon.     But let every man take heed how he builds thereupon.    - 1Co 3:10

And every man that strives for the mastery is temperate in all things.     Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible .    - 1Co 9:25 We have to sacrifice to reach our goal, to be the best we can.

Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith .    - Gal 3:24 The Law tells us we need a Saviour - One who can Justify us by Faith .

But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.    - Gal 3:25 Grace by Faith takes us out from under the Law .

Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ; - Eph 6:5 Order in the Servant, Master Relationship is of God with the Servant serving as unto Christ Himself .

And, you masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.    - Eph 6:9 Masters ought to treat their Servants as they would like to be treated were the roles reversed.     Fairness is a big part of that because we want to be treated fairly by our Master .

Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God: - Col 3:22 Servants should serve as unto the Lord .

Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that you also have a Master in heaven .    - Col 4:1 Fairness and equity are hallmarks of the Holy Spirit .

Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.    - 1Ti 6:1 Serve as unto the Lord .

And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brothers; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit .     These things teach and exhort .    - 1Ti 6:2 Serve as unto the Lord .

And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.    - 2Ti 2:5 We must do it the right way .

If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and acceptable for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work .    - 2Ti 2:21 We must willfully and purposefully determine to have the Mind Of Christ .

Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again; - Tit 2:9 We ought all to manifest the New Spirit .

My brothers, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation .    - Jam 3:1 To whom much is given, much is required.

Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.    - 1Pe 2:18 Paul said to serve your Master as unto the Lord .

For in one hour so great riches is come to nought.     And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, - Rev 18:17 A global economy is a set up for a global collapse.     Those who are building the global economy are foolish not to see the risk.
