Jesus is the Holy Spirit in flesh. It is necessary to believe this about Jesus in order to be Born Again of the Holy Spirit. Those who reject Jesus, reject the Holy Spirit. → He is the Way: Jesus is the path to our Creator. → He is the Truth: Jesus is the Truth about our Creator → He is the Life: Jesus is the Creator by His Holy Spirit who fills us giving us life.
As disciples of Christ we must share this Gospel Truth with everyone in our lives.
It will either be a testimony for them leading to Eternal Life with Christ or a testimony against them in The Judgment leading to Eternal Death in the Lake Of Fire. Act 4:12 Rev 20:12,15
Christ Jesus is our redeemer, our Saviour, our healer, our rest, our victory, our resurrection, our life and our future. → We come to Jesus by believing His Words. → We receive His rest when we receive His Holy Spirit.
The Yoke of Christ is the Holy Spirit. When we receive Christ we are born of the Holy Spirit and become New Creatures In Christ. The Holy Spirit is our teacher and comforter. It is in Him that we find rest.
The Holy Spirit is never overbearing or burdensome. He is always pleasant and uplifting.
Who gave Jesus this power and authority? His Holy Spirit who had birthed Him, annointed Him and raised Him from the dead is the source of all things and Jesus is His express image.
If all power in heaven and earth belongs to Christ Jesus there is no power or authority left for any other being in the universe. This means that He and He alone is → Mighty God → Everlasting Father → Saviour → Lord → King.
This verse speaks to the singleness of God as manifested in Christ Jesus. In the next verse Jesus tells us to teach and baptize people in His name as He is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
What is the source of knowledge of Jesus (who is the Truth)? 1) the Word Of The Lord which is Truth 2) the Holy Spirit who is the Spirit Of Truth.
When we spend time meditating on the Word Of The Lord the Holy Spirit reveals more Truth to us which enables us to appropriate more of His Grace Through Faith.
Many believers in Christ have not grown to the knowledge that Jesus is Mighty God - the image of His Holy Spirit who is the eternal, ominipresent, omniscient, omnipotent being we call 'God'.
Until that revelation knowledge is in us, there is still a separation between us and 'God'. Realizing that the Holy Spirit in us is 'God' in us is critical to the exercising of the Faith Of Christ.
By the Faith Of Christ we are able to do His works. The fact that we do not see His works being manifested in and through believers is evidence of this fundamental lack of knowledge of Christ Jesus.
Jesus is Lord.
We are washed in the Word Of The Lord and transformed from Grace to Grace by it.
The implication for those not in the Word is that they are unsanctified and so, spiritually filthy.
Worst of all, they may not realize they are filthy and in conflict with their Saviour.
But for those in the Word, Abundant Life in power, peace, joy, faith and love manifests more and more.
The Holy Spirit is: 1) Comforter 2) Spirit Of Truth 3) witness of Jesus Christ. → Peace is a Spirit Fruit state of comfort. → Jesus is the Truth so the Holy Spirit gives revelation knowledge of the Truth. → We cannot adequately testify of Jesus without the Holy Spirit inspiration.
But just as Jesus is in the Father Joh 17:21 and the Father is in Him and He is the Father Joh 14:7-9 while saying 'the Father is greater than I' Joh 14:28, so it is with us, we can receive all and yet only part of the omnipresent Holy Spirit Father.
The source point from which He, the Holy Spirit, issues is the Spirit Realm (heaven). It is there in which His Majesty is best experienced Heb 1:3 Heb 8:1
Having the Holy Spirit, the Spirit Of Truth, inside you is better than having Jesus beside you Joh 16:7.
All Truth is ours In Christ Jesus who listen to the Holy Spirit teach us the depth of it 1Jn 2:20.
What does the Holy Spirit hear? → The Word Of The Lord.
What does the Holy Spirit speak? → The Word Of The Lord
The Word Of The Lord is Truth Joh 17:17.
It is interesting that the Holy Spirit, who will only speak what He hears from the Word, is the inspiration for what is spoken in the Word. This is saying that the Word and Holy Spirit are One - inseparable Joh 1:1.
We must pour ourselves into the Word so that the Holy Spirit can reveal its Truth to us Joh 14:26.
