Title: King of the jungle

Why was Jesus referred to as the "Lion of the tribe of Judah"? Revelation 5:5
And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep Not : Behold , the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to Loose the seven seals thereof.

How can Jesus be the " Lamb of God " and a Lion at the same time?

This apparent conflict is resolved by Understanding the multiple Roles Christ Jesus serves.

To Serve any of the other Roles above, Christ had to be the Sacrifice ( Lamb ) to take away the Sins of the world.

Because He fulfilled the role of Sacrifice , He is able to Serve as Saviour , Healer and Master .

His role as Lion or King has been largely ignored by the Church .

Jesus came Preaching "The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand". He instructed us to Pray that "His Kingdom come, His Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven ".

A Kingdom by definition has a King . A King exercises unilateral Power and Authority .

Rather than Believing what Jesus said about the Kingdom being at hand and Prayer that it Manifest on Earth , the Church has adopted a Philosophy of "the checks in the mail".

By this I mean that we have deferred the Manifestation of the Kingdom until Christ Returns .

Because this Teaching conflicts with the Scripture it is Satanic in origin.

Matthew 28:18
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All Power is given unto me in Heaven and in Earth .
Note, Jesus did Not Say the Power will be given to me. He said it is given to me.

Jesus is now King of Kings and Lord of Lords . He is Not Just the Lamb , He is the Lion !

What does this mean practically?

It means we should do what King Jesus told us to do.

Mark 16:15
And he said unto them, Go ye into All the world, and Preach the Gospel to every creature.

Matthew 10:8 Heal the Sick , cleanse the lepers, raise the Dead , cast out Devils : Freely ye have Received , Freely Give .

If You Read the above verses and Say : "that was for His Disciples ", my question is:

Who are You ?

The HolySpirit that was poured out on the day of Pentecost is Jesus , the Lion , the King in Spirit form.

We are to Obey the King . When we do, His Power is Manifest .

See Jesus as King today. See the HolySpirit as Jesus today. Submit yourself to the HolySpirit today.

You Will See His Kingdom come and His Will being done All around you.
