The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Joh 10:10 The thief is Satan who is the inspiration for all the evil in the world.      Whereas the `I` is Jesus who offers us Eternal Life and Abundant Life.      This verse is a powerful statement contrasting the nature of the enemy with the nature of our Lord Jesus Christ.      Note that the enemy takes by force what is ours, while we must appropriate by faith what is ours in Christ Jesus.      The appropriation is not a `one and done` thing.     Rather, it is an ongoing process throughout our lives on this earth.      Jesus has given us His life in giving us His Holy Spirit who is in every believer who has asked to be filled.     We aught to invoke His life into every aspect of our walk in the earth.

What is Abundant Life?   

What does Abundant mean?   "existing or available in large quantities; plentiful"

What is Life?   

The medical definition goes somethinf like this: "the capacity for metabolism, growth, reaction to stimuli, and reproduction"

But for Humans specifically Life includes much more.   

It is consciousness.   
It is self-awareness.   
It is the capacity to Think.   
It is the capacity to Love.   
It is the capacity to enjoy Beauty.   
It is the capacity to imagine.   
It is the capacity to create.   
It is the capacity to communicate.   
It is the capacity to experience the Creator.   

So, in order for us to begin to grasp the magnitude of Christ`s Gift we must Think of these aspects of Life in large quantites or greatly enhanced.   

What makes Abundant Life so wonderful is that it is the Gift of God to us.   

The Gospel (Good News) is that God Loves us and has given us Abundant Life through Jesus Christ.   

The thief comes to Steal, Kill and Destroy but Christ has come to Heal, Fill and Employ !   

If You Need Healing it is provided in Christ`s Abundant Life.   

If You are empty with no Joy or Hope You can be filled with the Holy Spirit.   

If You Feel useless or used up Christ`s Abundant Life Will Give You Vision, Power and a Purpose.   

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: Mat 7:7 Jesus is teaching about faith.     To ask effectively you must speak what you desire and you must believe that you will receive.      When we seek we must seek in faith so that we will recognize what we are seeking when we see it.      When we knock we must expect the door to be opened and we must be prepared to enter in confidence.

Fill yourself with the Knowledge of Christ by His Word while you Pray in and Fellowship with Holy Spirit.   You will experience Abundant Life.
