Unlike the seeds that the Lord created which are so compact requiring only good ground and the right amount of sun and water, the Word seed must deal with the human mind.   

Our natural mind is completely disconnected from the Lord.   It is affected by the five senses primarily with varying degrees of imagination.   

The five senses are helpful in coming to the Lord only to the extent we consider the miracle of life and creation.   

The imagination can enable us to grasp the beauty, glory and power of our Creator.   

But the five senses and imagination can only give a vague understanding of our Creator.   

This is why the Word is needed - to give clarity to that which is vague.   

Furthermore, the Word is voluminous because of the dullness of our minds.   Spiritual things can only be clearly understood spiritually.   

Carnal Minded and Spiritual Minded are polar opposites.   

Since our Creator is Spirit, the Holy Spirit, He communicates to us by His Word to our New Spirit In Christ Jesus.   

He gives us Revelation Knowledge.   

We know that the tree is defined by the seed from which it sprung.   The fruit that it bears issues from its single seed.   

If we are to bear the image of Him who has redeemed us and filled us, we must absorb His Words until our minds are renewed in the knowledge of Him.
