What is Faith?

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Faith is substance.
Substance is tangible.
Hope is what is desired and anticipated.

Faith is evidence.
Evidence is proof.
The promises of the Lord are not seen.

Faith is substance in that it receives that which is asked for.
Faith is evidence in that peace reigns.

Faith pleases the Lord -
Faith comes by hearing the Word Of The Lord -
Faith is built up by Praying In The Spirit -

Why?
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
What is the 'name of the Lord'?     Jesus.
What does it mean to 'call upon the name of the Lord'?     It means to come to the Creator calling Him by His name, Jesus, to plea for salvation.
God is just the generic name for deity.
Calling upon God will not save anyone.
Jesus is the express image of the only true and living God.     It is only in the name, Jesus, that anyone is saved.
   → Jesus is the name of the Father.
   → Jesus is the name of the Holy Spirit.
Understanding this gives real meaning to this important verse which declares the power of salvation in the name of Jesus.
When a person acknowledges that Jesus is Lord by calling on His name, His Holy Spirit performs the work of salvation in the heart of the caller.

You Believed the above Scripture and acted upon it.

How are You Healed ?
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Jesus' perfect finished work has made us the righteousness of the Holy Spirit. His broken and beaten body has healed us.

You Believe the above Scripture and act upon it.

You don`t consider all the evidence of Unbelievers in Believing for Salvation.

Neither should You Consider all the evidence of unhealed cases when Believing for Healing.

To do so is to stand in Doubt.
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
A desire is the object of hope.     Desiring and Hoping are activities of the imagination.
Faith is the state of our heart regarding that which we desire.
Jesus is telling us to visualize a desire, ask for it and immediately receive it in faith.
The act of desiring, hoping, asking, believing and receiving by faith is a seed that is planted.     The manifestation of that which is desired is the harvest.
The Spiritual Law of Seed Time And Harvest is foundational to all that the Lord has created.
1) We sow
2) the Lord produces
3) We harvest.

Our challenge is to Believe the Word and Not Circumstances and Not Experience and Not even our own Hearts.
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
Objectivity is elusive. Subjectivity is Deceitful because Focus is narrow and skewed.

What do You Believe in?

Your own Faith ?

It is insufficient.

It is the Faith of Christ that Saves Us , that Heals Us , that makes us superhuman.
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Paul tells us how we are justified by the Faith Of Christ and nothing else.

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of the Holy Spirit, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Translated from KJV
Water Baptism is symbolic of what actually happens in the Spirit Realm.
Paul explains that the old Sin Nature, that we were, is dead and buried with Christ so that we, by Grace Through Faith, we are raised with Him as New Spirit beings with the opportunity and power to operate in the newness of Abundant Life .

Note that it is "the Faith of Christ " Not our " Faith in Christ " that actually performs The Powerful transformational Work of God in us.

Yes we have to Believe , we have to open The door. But it is The Powerful Finished Work of Christ whose Faith was and is Perfect that accomplishes The Supernatural.

That`s Why Christ said we Only had to have Faith as a grain of mustard Seed - that`s all we can really muster.

But if our Faith is in His Faith , we tap into His Power. Jesus said without me You can do nothing. That means we can`t be Saved , we can`t be Healed , we can`t be effective.

It`s all about Him whom The Father has given all Power and Glory to.
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
When your understanding is perfect you can visualize what you know.
   → You begin to see into the Spirit Realm the Truth of the Lord's Word by revelation of the Holy Spirit.
   → You begin to fathom what it means to be In Christ, to be a joint-heir with Christ.
   → You begin to be an effective witness for Christ because of that revelation.

All of our Eyes Need to be opened to The Riches of His Inheritance.
And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease was exceeding great: yet in his disease he sought not to the Lord, but to the physicians.

And Asa slept with his fathers, and died in the one and fortieth year of his reign.
