The absence of Light    
Spiritual Darkness
But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever does make manifest is light.
The Word is light.     Jesus is light.     You are light.     As you walk in the light you will be a reprover of that which is of the darkness,

And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
Jesus has forgiven all sin.     But the sin of unbelief in that fact condemns the unbeliever to hell.     

Why is such a free and loving gift rejected by so many?     
   → They are rebellious by nature and they love sin.     
And that attitude makes them enemies of good.     

Those who allow evil to reign in their lives prefer the cover of darkness so they do not have to see the truth.     They also prefer others to be in darkness so those do not see the wickedness either.

In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of the Lord, should shine unto them.
Satan hates humanity and so deceives as many as possible so they never enter into the light of Grace by Christ Jesus.

Judge All things in the light.   Jesus is the light of the world.   He is the Incarnate Word.   
Your word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
The Word Of The Lord is given to us to keep us from falling and to enable us to see the good Path for our lives.     

To be disconnected from the Word is to be in darkness and so to stumble, fall and end up in a sorry place.

Anything that conflicts with the Word is darkness regardless of who says it or how reasonable it sounds.   

Do Not be deceived by the world!   
20190105 - Political Darkness Political darkness is using the the government for personal aggrandizement.   

The Fact that evidence does Not sway the socialist is proof they are in Gross Darkness.   
For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon you, and his glory shall be seen upon you.
When there is no light, darkness is all there is.     Jesus came as light into the world to save every one who would come to Him.

As discouraging as the political scene is, this verse encourages us that the glory of the Lord will manifest to destroy the darkness.   

We who are in Christ Jesus are the glory of the Lord.   It`s time for us to shine.
