That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that His Holy Spirit has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. Rom 10:9 This is the encapsulation of Grace, clearly pointing out our part which is faith in Jesus and confession of Him as risen Lord and Saviour.      The implication of our part being to believe on Jesus Christ and confess Him as risen Lord, is that He has done everything else!      It is why we call it amazing Grace!      It is why the gospel is nearly too good to be true!      Who raised Jesus from the dead?      He raised Himself Joh 10:17,18 by His Holy Spirit Rom 8:11.

For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Rom 10:10 It is Heart Faith that enables the miracle of the New Birth.      It is our personal confession of Jesus as mighty Creator and loving Saviour that seals that miracle.

I don`t know where the idea that one`s faith should be kept private came from.   

Yes I do.   It came from Satan.   

I wonder how many people who had some measure of faith in Christ Jesus believed the lie that public confession of Him was unnecessary?   

I can tell you on the authority of the Word Of The Lord cited above that those who died having never confessed Him as their Lord and Saviour will stand before Christ Jesus in The Judgment and hear the words: "depart from me, I never knew you".   

Whoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father who is in heaven. Mat 10:32 Our confession of Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord is critical for the New Birth.

But whoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father who is in heaven. Mat 10:33 Jesus is saying that to willfully and verbally deny Him before men is the Unpardonable Sin.     Why is believing on Jesus and confessing Him before men so important?      Because Jesus is 'God'.     No one can be accepted by 'God' who has rejected Him.      He states that a person's words against Him requires Him to speak against them to the Father.      What does that mean?      It means that His Holy Spirit will not dispense Grace to the denier and leave them to inevitable destruction.      If Jesus is not a person's advocate before His Holy Spirit they are condemned to the Lake Of Fire Mat 12:32.      Faithfulness is a characteristic of the Lord.     If faithfulness is not a part of a person's character they will deny Him eventually.     A person's denial of Him will require His denial of them.

It sickens me to think about how passive Christianity has been promoted by ministers throughout church history.   

Not only has it resulted in the souls of the embarrassed being lost, but it has resulted in the testimony of Jesus Christ not being given to the salvation of their children, friends and acquaintances.   

Those who knew someone who was a `Christian` but never heard their testimony, in all likelihood, assumed the lack of testimony equated to a lack of real faith.   Such became a testimony against the Gospel and faith of Jesus Christ.   

If you are a believer and have not publicly confessed Christ Jesus as your Lord and Saviour and the only way anyone can be saved, I recommend you do it immediately.   Furthermore, I recommend that you do it to every person in your life.   

We are saved by Grace Through Faith and that faith comes by hearing, believing and receiving the Word Of The Lord.   

The scriptures cited above are the Word Of The Lord and it is by faith in them that each of us are Born Again by the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus.   

Unless a person is born of the Holy Spirit they can not see the Kingdom Of Heaven much less enter it.   

Whenever I give celebrities any thought I try to find out about their spirituality.   It saddens me how many apparently are not on record as having received Christ Jesus as Saviour and Lord.   

None of such celebrities will be celebrated in heaven as they will end up in the Lake Of Fire.   

Please do not follow such eternal losers regardless of how many awards they won or wealth they garnered in their lives.   

For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?     or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Mat 16:26 Jesus is telling them that the things of earth are not worth losing ones' soul over.     Note that He is talking about our mind and emotions (soul).     He is talking about our lives on earth.     Eternal Life is in the New Spirit being.     Eternal Life is a gift.     Abundant Life is only experienced through denial of self and acceptance of the Holy Spirit direction.

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: Heb 9:27 This is a Spiritual Law.     After our sojourn here on earth we will appear before Jesus (believers) or the Father (unbelievers) in judgment.

Use the time you have left in this life to testify of Christ Jesus
   → who He is,
   → what He has done for you, and
   → that He is coming back to judge the world

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Rev 12:11 This is one of the most important verses in the book of revelation for each of us personally.      We overcome by two actions and one attitude.     The two actions; 1) Jesus shed blood 2) Our testimony that Jesus is our Creator and Saviour.      The one attitude is 1) Being willing to die for Christ's sake.      Take up Your Cross and enter into fellowship with Jesus, experiencing His suffering and His joy.
