A true Democracy is just. It might govern rightly or wrongly but it is the will of the majority. Any other form of government is Elitist .

The key to any form of Government is the Spiritual underpinnings of those governing. A Government by individuals who are amoral or immoral will be Evil . A Government by Moral people will be essentially Good .

The most important trait in a governor is Character . Character involves Morality and Integrity . Integrity implies the governor will be consistent. Morality implies that the governor prefers Good over Evil .

In a Democracy there will be Good Government if the majority of the people have Character . If not, the Government will be Evil .

In a Democracy the people get what they deserve. In any other form of Government the people get what the Elitists think they deserve (at best) or they get what the Elitists are willing for them to have (at worst).

There were several reasons why the founding fathers made the U.S. a Republic rather than a Democracy

  1. they valued stability
  2. there was no easy way to gather everyone's opinion
  3. they had some Elitist tendencies

In a Republic the representatives may go against the will of the people they represent at their discretion.

In a Democracy the majority will always rules.
