Sickness and disease entered the physical realm via Spiritual Sin.   

Jesus made it possible for us to be Born again of the Spirit.   The new creature is designed to dominate the physical so that we experience Abundant Life.   

Likewise, those who do not come into the new birth are subject to the power of a corrupt spirit.   This corruption plays out to varying degrees in a person's life.   In the extreme, they partner with demonic spirits and manifest violent, abusive, hateful, destructive behavior.   

We are seeing more and more of Semon controlled people.   

The good news ( Gospel ) is that Christians are awakening to the power of a new birth existence.
