The most important goal for a parent is for their children to develop Good Character.
Good Character includes Integrity , Responsibility , resiliancy and a sense of community.
A child's Physical and Intellectual achievements are Superficial - more illusion than Reality.
As much as is possible, look at your Child objectively. See them for who they are and Not what You wish them to be. You can then Value their real qualities, See their real faults and Help them stay balanced.
Of course, introducing them to the One who Created them, who gave Himself for them, who Loves them and has a plan for them is key.
