Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the Mighty God even our Saviour Jesus Christ; Tit 2:13 When Jesus returns He will complete redemption by translating our soul and body (which are currently corrupted and corruptible) into incorruptible Rom 8:23.      When will this happen?      At the End Of The Age of Grace Through Faith and the Great Tribulation.      At His return Jesus will    → translate us 1Co 15:52    → destroy every Child Of Satan Mat 13:40    → establish the Millennial Kingdom Rev 20:4.      It is interesting that this verse in KJV says 'the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ' will appear.      Does that mean we will see two beings?      Why doesn't Rev 1:7 use the phrase 'and every eye will see THEM'?      Answer: Jesus is our great God.      The correct translation is found in the Jesus Bible Version as shown here.

Many teach that our Blessed Hope is the pretrib rapture of the church to save us from the Great Tribulation.   But as we look at the preceding verse we understand that the context of the term Blessed Hope has to do with our deliverance from the body of flesh which wars against our spirit.   

Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Tit 2:12 We have to deny the flesh because it wars against our New Spirit status.         → We have to willingly live soberly    → We have to make good decisions    → We have to aspire to please the Lord.      As long as we are in the flesh this battle will rage.
