It is a Fact that Jefferson had to send the marines to the shores of Tripoli to protect American ships from Muslim pirates.
It is a Fact that America was introduced to slave trade from Muslim slave traders.
It is a Fact that the 7 Churches of Asia Minor to which part of the Book of Revelation was written no longer exist. Asia Minor is Now Turkey which is 99+% Muslim . Now we All Know that You can't get 99% of any large group to agree willingly on anything.
It is a Fact that St. Augustine lived in Algeria. Since Christianity predates Islam it is likely that All of North Africa was once Christian . North Africa is 90% Muslim today. Why did these Christian nations become Muslim?
When You Consider the Quran with its rambling, non-sensical statements ( typical of an insane person ) it must Not be its Beautiful literature or a well-defined, Gracious deity that draws people to Islam . When You Consider Sharia and its tight control on peoples lives, that's Not what draws people to Islam . It must then be that Islam thrives by force.
Terrorism accomplishes several things for Islam :
- it provides a Focus for Islamic nationalism ( caliphate )
- it drives its own people to be fundamentalists
- it attacks the Will of its enemies
- it literally Kills some of its enemies
- it earns the terrorist rewards from Allah
Force is how Islam has spread since its beginning. This does Not mean that every Muslim is militant. It simply means that Islam is different from every other Religion . It is a 3-part entity: Spiritual , Military and Political . Those who rise to any leadership role in Islam Understand this and Teach this.
Muslims are Not fools. When they emigrate to non-muslim countries they Live in enclaves of other Muslims . Though they interact commercially with non-muslims ( by necessity ) they do Not assimilate. They encourage and Enable other Muslims to immigrate. When there is enough of them to come to Power they enforce sharia which requires every non-muslim to Convert or pay a fine or be murdered. This is borne out in History , in Muslim countries today and this is in the Quran .
Osama bin Laden Will one day be Considered , if Not already, the equivalent of a Catholic Saint . He is a Martyr for True Islam .
I would encourage anyone who Considers Islam Just another Religion to take note of the Fact that its Creator , Muhammad , was a reactionary to Judaism and Christianity . It was Not Created by a seeker. It was Created by an Enemy of those two Religions . Part and parcel of its Nature is ANTI. Step back and Ask the question: What Good is Islam seeking? Its goal is to force All the world to come under Allah's Authority ( which means Ayatolla or Caliph ).
Compare this with Pure Christianity:
- Come unto me All ye that labor and I Will Give You rest
- Whom the Son has set Free is Free indeed
- I have come that You might have Life more abundantly.
When You site the sad things in History that people did in the Name of Christianity it does a disservice to our Lord and Savior , Jesus Christ . It does a disservice to the Truth . However, even if You Choose to attach those misdeeds to Christianity You must cede the Fact that Christianity has outgrown the violence. That Will Never happen with Islam unless it rewrites the Quran . Fundamentalist Muslims Will Follow Muhammad's Words to the letter. That equates to violent overtaking and dictatorial sharia Law .
Not to mention how they treat women and LGBTQ .

John Adams to Thomas Jefferson on July 16, 1814, reveals John Adams' True feelings about Islam : Adams States that Mohammed is
a Military fanatic" who "denies that Laws were made for him; he arrogates everything to Himself by force of arms.
In a March 23, 1790, letter to the editor of the Federal Gazette, Ben Franklin wrote:
Nor can the Plundering of Infidels be in that sacred Book [the Quran] forbidden, since it is well known from it, that God has given the World, and All that it contains, to his Faithful Mussulmen, who are to enjoy it of Right as Fast as they conquer it.
Here is what John Quincy Adams wrote about the Islamic prophet Mohammed:
In the seventh century of the Christian era, a wandering Arab of the lineage of Hagar, the Egyptian, combining the Powers of transcendent genius, with the preternatural energy of a fanatic, and the fraudulent Spirit of an impostor, proclaimed Himself as a messenger from Heaven , and spread desolation and Delusion over an extensive portion of the earth. Adopting from the sublime Conception of the Mosaic Law , the Doctrine of one omnipotent God ; he connected indissolubly with it, the audacious falsehood, that he was Himself his prophet and apostle. Adopting from the New Revelation of Jesus , the Faith and Hope of immortal Life , and of future retribution, he humbled it to the dust, by adapting All the rewards and sanctions of his Religion to the gratification of the sexual passion. He poisoned the sources of Human felicity at the Fountain , by degrading the condition of the female Sex , and the allowance of polygamy; and he declared undistinguishing and exterminating war, as a part of his Religion , against All the Rest of mankind. The essence of his Doctrine was violence and Lust : To exalt the brutal over the Spiritual part of Human nature. [emphasis in the original]
John Quincy Adams also described the Quran in one of his essays as follows:
The precept of the koran Is , perpetual war against All who deny, that Mahomet is the prophet of God . The vanquished may Purchase their lives, by the payment of tribute; the victorious may be appeased by a false and delusive promise of Peace ; and the Faithful follower of the prophet, may Submit to the imperious necessities of Defeat : but the Command to propagate the Moslem creed by the Sword is always obligatory, when it can be made Effective . The Commands of the prophet may be performed alike, by fraud, or by force.
