As I write there are wild fires in California, Oregon and Washington states. There have been 45 earthquakes in the past day around the world.
Why does Bible prophesy speak of disruptions in nature as a sign of the End Of The Age?
Nature is a servant of the Lord`s purposes. It was placed under the authority of man.
When man is in fellowship with the Lord, nature responds positively.
When man is in opposition to the Lord, nature responds negatively.
This verse describes the current state of affairs quite accurately. Mankind has `outgrown` the Lord or `learned better` than to believe in and fellowship with the Lord. They have believed demonically inspired, educated fools.
So, as the populace moves out of fellowship with the Lord, nature is disrupted by the Spiritual Wickedness in High Places.
What is the reaction by the environmentalists? Get rid of mankind!
And the reality is they are partially correct. Mankind was created to be in fellowship with the Lord. Outside of that fellowship he is no better than Satan or the fallen angels.
When Christ returns He will destroy the wicked - those who refuse fellowship with the Lord. And then there will 1000 years of stability on earth as fellowship with the Lord is ordained and mandated by Christ Himself.
Every person was created to be in fellowship with the Lord. There is no reason to kill-off large portions of humanity in order to `protect the environment`. As a matter of fact, that would be serving Satan`s purposes.
Jesus prescribed the method by which humanity and nature were to be Saved:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. |
So, if the earth (nature, creation) is to be saved it will be by preaching and teaching the Gospel of the kingdom to every person.
This is a preview of creation and what will happen in nature when everyone is in fellowship with the Lord:
The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. |
And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. |
And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice` den. |
