God created man. We are His Creations . He breathed into man the breath of Life and man became a living Soul .
Genesis 2:7
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of Life ; and man became a living Soul .
Note that God created living Souls - not Children .
God could have created us to be in Relationship with Him. He could have created us to be His Children . He did not.
God's purpose in Creation was to have Children . He wanted Relationship based on Love - not compulsion. So He created Living Souls with autonomy to choose or reject Relationship with Him.
Jesus is Creator God . He said that we must be Born again. He said it was not sufficient to be born of flesh. It was necessary for us to be Born of Spirit . God is Spirit . For us to cease being just Creations and become Children , we had to born of the Spirit . The Spirit is eternal God - the Father
. By being Born of the Spirit we become the offspring of God - made of the same substance and one with Him. We become His heirs. We become His Children .
This is the wonderful, beautiful, transforming Truth that Jesus ( God incarnate) has revealed to us.
Repent ! Change your Way of thinking about God . Believe in His Love , Receive His Son , Jesus , and be Born into the Family of God !
