5 | | |
6 | | |
7 | | And David said, Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that is to be builded for the Lord must be exceeding magnifical, of fame and of glory throughout all countries: I will therefore now make preparation for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death. |
|
8 | | |
9 | | Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatsoever you do, do all to the glory of the Lord. |
|
10 | | But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. |
|
11 | | For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of the Lord: but the woman is the glory of the man. |
|
12 | | There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. That which is special about any of the Lord's creations was designed to be so. |
|
13 | | There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differs from another star in glory. Just considering the brightness, we know that the moon has none except by reflection. We also know that planets only reflect light. We know that there are red dwarf stars which are burning out. |
|
14 | | |
15 | | |
16 | | That, according as it is written, He that glories, let him glory in the Lord. |
|
17 | | |
18 | | Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. |
|
19 | | Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; |
|
20 | | For who makes you to differ from another? and what have you that you did not receive? now if you did receive it, why do you glory, as if you had not received it? Everything that we are and have is a gift from the Lord. So, there is no room for pride or self-glory. |
|
21 | | |
22 | | But I have used none of these things: neither have I written these things, that it should be so done unto me: for it were better for me to die, than that any man should make my glorying void. Paul seems to be bothered by criticism as we all tend to be. But, there will always be critics. Jesus, the persfect one, was criticised. Do not spend time defending yourself. Rather spend your time defending Christ Jesus. |
|
23 | | |
24 | | |
25 | | |
26 | | |
27 | | For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower thereof falls away: |
|
28 | | |
29 | | |
30 | | For what glory is it, if, when you be buffeted for your faults, you shall take it patiently? but if, when you do well, and suffer for it, you take it patiently, this is acceptable with the Lord. |
|
31 | | |
32 | | |
33 | | |
34 | | |
35 | | |
36 | | And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, you shall receive a crown of glory that fades not away. |
|
37 | | He raises up the poor out of the dust, and lifts up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord's, and he has set the world upon them. |
|
38 | | And she named the child Ichabod, saying, The glory is departed from Israel: because the ark of the Lord was taken, and because of her father in law and her husband. |
|
39 | | |
40 | | Wherefore you shall make images of your emerods, and images of your mice that mar the land; and you shall give glory unto the Lord of Israel: perhaps he will lighten his hand from off you, and from off your gods, and from off your land. |
|
41 | | |
42 | | |
43 | | Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ. When we don't have to please others we are free to please the Lord. |
|
44 | | |
45 | | |
46 | | |
47 | | |
48 | | |
49 | | And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the Lord upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his kindness endures for ever. |
|
50 | | But he that glories, let him glory in the Lord. All that we are, have or ever will be is a gift from the Lord. Hence, there is no room for pride or self-glory. The good that we do is of His Holy Spirit working in and through us. |
|
51 | | But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we. Even in Paul's day there was some element of competition for allegiance and resources. Paul is saying that he makes every attempt not to be involved in or seen as someone who struggles in such small-minded resource hording activities. |
|
52 | | |
53 | | |
54 | | |
55 | | I am become a fool in glorying; you have compelled me: for I ought to have been commended of you: for in nothing am I behind the very chiefest apostles, though I be nothing. |
|
56 | | Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities. What the Lord does to us, in us and through us is all to His glory and none to our own. |
|
57 | | |
58 | | And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Whenever we are reminded of our total dependence on the Lord we are immediately exalted by Him with power to do all things through His Holy Spirit who strengthens us. |
|
59 | | |
60 | | |
61 | | |
62 | | But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: |
|
63 | | |
64 | | |
65 | | |
66 | | |
67 | | For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that you may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart. |
|
68 | | |
69 | | And not that only, but who was also chosen of the churches to travel with us with this grace, which is administered by us to the glory of the same Lord, and declaration of your ready mind: Paul emphasizes the legitimacy of those ministering as having been approved by the church leadership. |
|
70 | | Whether any do enquire of Titus, he is my partner and fellowhelper concerning you: or our brothers be enquired of, they are the messengers of the churches, and the glory of Christ. Paul is attesting to the legitimacy of Titus and those traveling with him. |
|
71 | | You have indeed struck Edom, and your heart has lifted you up: glory of this, and tarry at home: for why should you meddle to your hurt, that you should fall, even you, and Judah with you? |
|
72 | | |
73 | | According as his divine power has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that has called us to glory and virtue: The power of the Lord manifests in and through us to the extent of our knowledge of Him. - You must know that you are accepted in the beloved , → You must know that you are healed by His stripes , → You must know that He wants you to prosper , → You must know that the same spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in you , → You must know that you have authority over the enemy , → You must know that you have the power to bind and to loose , → You must know that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you . How do you know these things? You hear, believe, receive and do the word of the Lord. (see He Be Re Do) Decide that you will have the Mind Of Christ and then do what Jesus did to become the instrument of the Lord Jesus 1. heard the Word Of The Lord , 2. believed the Word Of The Lord , 3. was baptised with His Holy Spirit , 4. Spoke and did the Word Of The Lord . It is in following the example of Christ Jesus that we manifest His virtue, His power and His glory. Who has called us to glory and virtue? → the Word → the Holy Spirit The Word is the Gospel of Jesus Christ that informs us. The Holy Spirit is the one that draws us to Christ. Believers are to preach the Gospel. |
|
74 | | |
75 | | |
76 | | |
77 | | |
78 | | |
79 | | |
80 | | And immediately the angel of the Lord struck him, because he gave not the Lord the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up His Holy Spirit. |
|
81 | | And when I could not see for the glory of that light, being led by the hand of them that were with me, I came into Damascus. |
|
82 | | |
83 | | |
84 | | |
85 | | When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall you also appear with him in glory. |
|
86 | | |
87 | | |
88 | | |
89 | | |
90 | | |
91 | | But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him: |
|
92 | | |
93 | | His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh. |
|
94 | | |
95 | | |
96 | | |
97 | | |
98 | | |
99 | | |
100 | | |
101 | | |
102 | | |
103 | | And Haman told them of the glory of his riches, and the multitude of his children, and all the things wherein the king had promoted him, and how he had advanced him above the princes and servants of the king. |
|
104 | | |
105 | | And in the morning, then you shall see the glory of the Lord; for that he hears your murmurings against the Lord: and what are we, that you murmur against us? |
|
106 | | And the glory of the Lord abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud. |
|
107 | | |
108 | | And you shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother for glory and for beauty. |
|
109 | | And for Aaron's sons you shall make coats, and you shall make for them girdles, and bonnets shall you make for them, for glory and for beauty. |
|
110 | | |
111 | | And he said, I beseech you, show me your glory. |
|
112 | | And it shall come to pass, while my glory passes by, that I will put you in a clift of the rock, and will cover you with my hand while I pass by: |
|
113 | | |
114 | | And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. |
|
115 | | And Moses said unto Pharaoh, Glory over me: when shall I intreat for you, and for your servants, and for your people, to destroy the frogs from you and your houses, that they may remain in the river only? |
|
116 | | Then the glory of the Lord departed from off the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubims. |
|
117 | | And the cherubims lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight: when they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and every one stood at the door of the east gate of the Lord's house; and the glory of the Lord of Israel was over them above. |
|
118 | | Then the glory of the Lord went up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the Lord's glory. |
|
119 | | Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the Lord of Israel was over them above. |
|
120 | | And the glory of the Lord went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city. |
|
121 | | As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke. |
|
122 | | Yet also I lifted up my hand unto them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands; |
|
123 | | In the day that I lifted up mine hand unto them, to bring them forth of the land of Egypt into a land that I had espied for them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands: |
|
124 | | Also, you son of man, shall it not be in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that whereupon they set their minds, their sons and their daughters, |
|
125 | | |
126 | | When I shall bring you down with them that descend into the pit, with the people of old time, and shall set you in the low parts of the earth, in places desolate of old, with them that go down to the pit, that you be not inhabited; and I shall set glory in the land of the living; |
|
127 | | |
128 | | |
129 | | |
130 | | Then I arose, and went forth into the plain: and, behold, the glory of the Lord stood there, as the glory which I saw by the river of Chebar: and I fell on my face. |
|
131 | | |
132 | | And the glory of the Lord came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east. |
|
133 | | |
134 | | Then brought he me the way of the north gate before the house: and I looked, and, behold, the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord: and I fell upon my face. |
|
135 | | |
136 | | And the glory of the Lord of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's inkhorn by his side; |
|
137 | | To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. |
|
138 | | Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another. |
|
139 | | For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh. |
|
140 | | |
141 | | |
142 | | And you shall tell my father of all my glory in Egypt, and of all that you have seen; and you shall haste and bring down my father here. |
|
143 | | |
144 | | You are filled with shame for glory: drink you also, and let your foreskin be uncovered: the cup of the Lord's right hand shall be turned unto you, and shameful spewing shall be on your glory. |
|
145 | | |
146 | | Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do you see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing? |
|
147 | | |
148 | | |
149 | | |
150 | | |
151 | | For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. |
|
152 | | You made him a little lower than the angels; you crowned him with glory and honour, and did set him over the works of your hands: But before the fall we walked with the Lord in the cool of the day, kept the garden and ruled the earth. |
|
153 | | But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of the Holy Spirit should taste death for every man. The Holy Spirit, who is the eternal, omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent Father of all life, impregnated Mary in order for Christ Jesus (the eternal Word) to be born into the human world for the purpose of fulfilling His prophetic Word regarding the redemption of mankind. Christ Jesus' suffering, death annd resurrection has brought the potential for healing, redemption and Eternal Life for every man. Because Christ Jesus perfectly performed His task as servant and sacrifice He is now King Of Kings and Lord Of Lords with all power in heaven and earth under His authority. In order for the potential that is ours by the Grace of the Holy Spirit, we must 'see' Jesus. We 'see' Jesus by believing that He is Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Saviour, Lord and King according to the Word. |
|
154 | | For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who has builded the house has more honour than the house. |
|
155 | | And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly. |
|
156 | | The inhabitants of Samaria shall fear because of the calves of Bethaven: for the people thereof shall mourn over it, and the priests thereof that rejoiced on it, for the glory thereof, because it is departed from it. |
|
157 | | As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame. |
|
158 | | As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird, from the birth, and from the womb, and from the conception. |
|
159 | | |
160 | | Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of hosts, send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory he shall kindle a burning like the burning of a fire. |
|
161 | | And shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body: and they shall be as when a standard-bearer faints. |
|
162 | | And what will you do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will you flee for help? and where will you leave your glory? |
|
163 | | |
164 | | |
165 | | |
166 | | |
167 | | And in that day it shall come to pass, that the glory of Jacob shall be made thin, and the fatness of his flesh shall wax lean. |
|
168 | | |
169 | | For thus has the Lord said unto me, Within a year, according to the years of an hireling, and all the glory of Kedar shall fail: |
|
170 | | He will surely violently turn and toss you like a ball into a large country: there shall you die, and there the chariots of your glory shall be the shame of your lord's house. |
|
171 | | |
172 | | |
173 | | From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yes, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously. Treacherous dealers are people who use the Truth to ingratiate themselves. Those who have submitted themselves to men will realize their calamity. |
|
174 | | |
175 | | |
176 | | |
177 | | |
178 | | |
179 | | |
180 | | |
181 | | You shall fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them: and you shall rejoice in the Lord, and shall glory in the Holy One Of Israel. |
|
182 | | |
183 | | |
184 | | |
185 | | |
186 | | |
187 | | For my own sake, even for my own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another. |
|
188 | | And the Lord will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence. |
|
189 | | |
190 | | |
191 | | Therefore hell has enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoices, shall descend into it. |
|
192 | | |
193 | | |
194 | | |
195 | | |
196 | | All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto you, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto you: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory. |
|
197 | | |
198 | | |
199 | | |
200 | | Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of your holiness and of your glory: where is your zeal and your strength, the sounding of your bowels and of your kindnesses toward me? are they restrained? |
|
201 | | That you may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that you may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory. |
|
202 | | |
203 | | |
204 | | And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles. |
|
205 | | |
206 | | |
207 | | |
208 | | |
209 | | |
210 | | |
211 | | |
212 | | |
213 | | Therefore thus says the Lord concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah; They shall not lament for him, saying, Ah my brother! or, Ah sister! they shall not lament for him, saying, Ah lord! or, Ah his glory! |
|
214 | | |
215 | | You daughter that do inhabit Dibon, come down from your glory, and sit in thirst; for the spoiler of Moab shall come upon you, and he shall destroy your strong holds. |
|
216 | | |
217 | | |
218 | | |
219 | | He has stripped me of my glory, and taken the crown from my head. |
|
220 | | My glory was fresh in me, and my bow was renewed in my hand. |
|
221 | | Can you make him afraid as a grasshopper? the glory of his nostrils is terrible. |
|
222 | | Deck yourself now with majesty and excellency; and array yourself with glory and beauty. |
|
223 | | |
224 | | |
225 | | These things said Isaiah, when he saw his glory, and spoke of him. |
|
226 | | And the glory which you gave me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: |
|
227 | | |
228 | | |
229 | | |
230 | | |
231 | | |
232 | | And I seek not my own glory: there is one that seeks and judges. Jesus flatly tells them that He is not trying to set up His own personal empire which is what they suspected He was up to. |
|
233 | | |
234 | | Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, |
|
235 | | |
236 | | |
237 | | And Moses said, This is the thing which the Lord commanded that you should do: and the glory of the Lord shall appear unto you. |
|
238 | | Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. |
|
239 | | |
240 | | |
241 | | |
242 | | Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? |
|
243 | | |
244 | | |
245 | | And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were very much afraid. |
|
246 | | |
247 | | For whoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son Of Man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels. Ashamed indicates a reluctance to be associated with Christ. That is damning. |
|
248 | | |
249 | | But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him. There are mighty things happening all around us but we do not see them if we are alseep or preoccupied. |
|
250 | | |
251 | | They said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on your right hand, and the other on your left hand, in your glory. |
|
252 | | |
253 | | Whoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son Of Man be ashamed, when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. |
|
254 | | |
255 | | |
256 | | |
257 | | |
258 | | |
259 | | |
260 | | Therefore when you do your alms, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Truly I say unto you, They have their reward. |
|
261 | | And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. |
|
262 | | |
263 | | The women of my people have you cast out from their pleasant houses; from their children have you taken away my glory for ever. |
|
264 | | Take you the spoil of silver, take the spoil of gold: for there is none end of the store and glory out of all the pleasant furniture. |
|
265 | | But all the congregation bade stone them with stones. And the glory of the Lord appeared in the tabernacle of the congregation before all the children of Israel. |
|
266 | | |
267 | | |
268 | | And Korah gathered all the congregation against them unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto all the congregation. |
|
269 | | And it came to pass, when the congregation was gathered against Moses and against Aaron, that they looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation: and, behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the Lord appeared. |
|
270 | | And Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they fell upon their faces: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto them. |
|
271 | | |
272 | | |
273 | | Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. |
|
274 | | |
275 | | |
276 | | |
277 | | |
278 | | |
279 | | |
280 | | |
281 | | It is the glory of the Lord to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter. |
|
282 | | It is not good to eat much honey: so for men to search their own glory is not glory. |
|
283 | | |
284 | | |
285 | | |
286 | | |
287 | | When the Lord shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory. |
|
288 | | |
289 | | |
290 | | Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eats grass. The Lord is our glory. Until we realize that we are nothing more the oxen. |
|
291 | | |
292 | | |
293 | | |
294 | | |
295 | | |
296 | | |
297 | | |
298 | | |
299 | | |
300 | | |
301 | | The heavens declare the glory of the Lord; and the firmament shows his handywork. |
|
302 | | |
303 | | |
304 | | Lift up your heads, O you gates; and be you lift up, you everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. |
|
305 | | |
306 | | Lift up your heads, O you gates; even lift them up, you everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. |
|
307 | | |
308 | | |
309 | | |
310 | | The voice of the Lord makes the hinds to calve, and discovers the forests: and in his temple does every one speak of his glory. |
|
311 | | |
312 | | But you, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. |
|
313 | | |
314 | | Be not you afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased; |
|
315 | | For when he dies he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him. |
|
316 | | |
317 | | |
318 | | |
319 | | Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early. Stir yourself up early in the morning, looking to Him who loves you and so praising Him for His glory. |
|
320 | | |
321 | | |
322 | | |
323 | | |
324 | | |
325 | | You shall guide me with your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. |
|
326 | | |
327 | | |
328 | | |
329 | | Surely his salvation is near them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land. He hears every person who calls on His name. He makes His abode in those who receive Him. |
|
330 | | For you are the glory of their strength: and in your favour our horn shall be exalted. |
|
331 | | |
332 | | |
333 | | For you have made him a little lower than the angels, and have crowned him with glory and honour. |
|
334 | | |
335 | | |
336 | | |
337 | | |
338 | | |
339 | | And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were frightened, and gave glory to the Lord of heaven. |
|
340 | | |
341 | | And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of the Lord, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled. |
|
342 | | And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of the Lord, which has power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory. Same thing happened with Pharoah - stubborn hard-heartedness. |
|
343 | | |
344 | | |
345 | | |
346 | | Having the glory of the Lord: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; |
|
347 | | And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of the Lord did lighten it, even the Lamb is the light thereof. |
|
348 | | |
349 | | |
350 | | |
351 | | |
352 | | |
353 | | And every creature who is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sits upon the throne, even unto the Lamb for ever and ever. |
|
354 | | |
355 | | For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen. |
|
356 | | I have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to the Lord. Paul has done the best job he could under the leading of the Holy Spirit and he is satisfied that it is acceptable. |
|
357 | | |
358 | | |
359 | | |
360 | | |
361 | | |
362 | | For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of the Lord; This statement must be acknowdged in order for a person to be saved by Grace. Not to do so or to disagree with it implies that Jesus' death was unnecessary. |
|
363 | | |
364 | | |
365 | | |
366 | | |
367 | | |
368 | | |
369 | | |
370 | | |
371 | | |
372 | | |
373 | | |
374 | | |
375 | | For thus says the Lord of hosts; After the glory has he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that touches you touches the apple of his eye. |
|
376 | | Even he shall build the temple of the Lord; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both. |
