Worship involves speaking.   Communication involves speaking.   Relationships require speaking.   The Gospel requires speaking.   Loving requires speaking.   

(As it is written, I have made you a father of many nations), before him whom he believed, even the Lord, who quickens the dead, and calls those things which be not as though they were. Rom 4:17 Abraham received the promise from preincarnate Jesus.

God spoke the creation into existence.   His power was released by His Word.   

We are to speak those things that we desire into existence by faith in God`s Grace through Christ Jesus.   

Satan knows the principle of speaking.   That is his main weapon to thwart God`s plan.   

He Works through his children to call evil good and good evil.   

Political Correctness, Hate Speech and fascism are the products of his use of the power of the spoken Word.   

Since Satan is a liar his words spoken through his children have no real power - just the power of deception.   

We have the Word of God, the light, the Truth which will never fail.   It is the Spirit Sword.   When used it we destroy the works of the enemy.   

And my tongue shall speak of your righteousness and of your praise all the day long. Psm 35:28 The Lord does not need our praise and thanks but we need to praise and thank Him to open wider the flow of His blessings in our lives.

They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not: Psm 115:5 Such are the inanimate idols that man forms.

I will speak of your testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed. Psm 119:46 The Holy Spirit is the life in every person.     He is not intimidated by any whom He has created.     When we stand in Him and speak in Him, we have the power of command.

I will speak of the glorious honour of your majesty, and of your wondrous works. Psm 145:5 It is impossible to express in words the glory, majesty, love and Grace of our Saviour.     But we should try to.     As we do so, the Holy Spirit in us will communicate that glory into the hearts of the hearer who has a Love Of The Truth.

They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom, and talk of your power; Psm 145:11 The most pleasurable thing a believer can do is to talk about the goodness of the Lord and His power in their lives.

My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever. Psm 145:21 believers cannot grasp how anyone can reject Christ Jesus.     Their expectation is that every man will praise the Lord.

But when you pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Mat 6:7 The Lord is the most intelligent being in the unverse.     He hears us the first time we speak.     As a matter of fact, He knows what we need before we even ask.     On top of that, He knows the imagination of the thoughts of our hearts.      Prayer?     Keep it simple.     Keep it sincere.

But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what you shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what you shall speak. Mat 10:19 Holy Spirit gves utterance in the Prayer Language and He gives utterance in the face of the enemy.

For it is not you that speak, but your Holy Spirit Father which speaks in you. Mat 10:20 When our heart is filled with the Holy Spirit and the Word, the Spirit Of Christ will speak through us.

What I tell you in darkness, that speak you in light: and what you hear in the ear, that preach you upon the housetops. Mat 10:27 We are to proclaim the Truth from every platform available.     We are to do it loudly, proudly and powerfully.

Jesus answered and said unto them, Truly I say unto you, If you have faith, and doubt not, you shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if you shall say unto this mountain, Be you removed, and be you cast into the sea; it shall be done. Mat 21:21 Jesus is speaking an 'unbelievable' Truth.     He is telling us that the Lord has made faith available for us to do anything.

It is the spirit that quickens; the flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. Joh 6:63 This is profound Truth!      The Holy Spirit makes us alive and keeps us alive.      The flesh does not help anything.     It is sustained by the Spirit.      Our life comes from the Word Of The Lord which issues from the Holy Spirit.      But, The Word/HolySpirit wait for us to release the power.      We do so by faith in the authority of Christ and His Word.      The Word and Spirit is One.     Jesus is the Word who speaks according to His Holy Spirit.

And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Holy Spirit gave them utterance. Act 2:4 Spirit Baptism is necessary for a powerful life in Christ.     Yes, we are Born Again and given the gift of Eternal Life by faith in Jesus Christ.     That is necessary for us to be Spirit Filled.      Some people receive the Holy Spirit baptism at the same time as they are Born Again, but most do not.      Primarily, this is a result of not being taught to expect the Holy Spirit baptism.      Secondly, there has been no demonstration of Spirit Baptism in many churches.      For those who may not understand who and what the Holy Spirit is, understand this:    → The Holy Spirit is the Spirit Of Christ Jesus.         → The Holy Spirit is not some 3rd person of some godhead.         → The Holy Spirit is the eternal, omniscient, omnipresent being who created us and redeemed us by our Lord Jesus.      Receive Him and fellowship with Him who is Eternal Life and Abundant Life.

For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard. Act 4:20 If you don't have the same urge that Peter had to speak what you have heard from the Word and seen Christ do in you and for you, there is something wrong.      Are you Spirit Filled?      Are you in the Word?      Do you really believe?      The reason these questions are important for you to answer is that there is worldwide persecution coming against Christianity.     You cannot be lukewarm and survive the pressure.      Stir up the gift that is in you.      Return to your First Love.      Do your First Works.

And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto your servants, that with all boldness they may speak your word, Act 4:29 What a wonderful prayer.     They Prayed for boldness to testify of Jesus Christ and Proclaim His Word.

And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them, as on us at the beginning. Act 11:15

Then spoke the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not your peace: Act 18:9 speak, Vision

Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: 1Co 2:6 true wisdom comes from the Spirit Realm and is spiritually understood.     Only those who are New Spirit beings can grasp spiritual wisdom.

But we speak the wisdom of the Lord in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which the Lord ordained before the world unto our glory: 1Co 2:7 spiritual wisdom reveals the mystery of the Lord's love and purpose in creation.      What is His purpose in creation?      To have children who are like Him.     Psm 82:6.      Our Lord wants to pour His glory into us.     He does this by filling us with His Holy Spirit Col 1:27.      The extent that we experience His glory is the extent to which we desire, hunger and thirst for Him.      This Gospel must be spoken as seed into the minds and hearts of hearers in order for the Truth to reign and this mystery be known.

Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 1Co 2:13 The Holy Spirit is our teacher and He enables us to grow in Grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ, who manifested the love of the Holy Spirit in His self-sacrifice, by spiritual revelation of the Truth.

I thank my Lord, I speak with tongues more than you all: 1Co 14:18 Why did Paul speak with tongues?     Why did he feel it necessary to make such a claim?     Do you speak with tongues?     If not, why not?      We know that faith is necessary to appropriate the blessings of the Lord.     Praying in the Spirit builds up our faith Jud 1:20.      Paul was used by the Lord to receive and deliver the Gospel of Grace Through Faith.     While the other apostles were caught between judaism and the power of the resurrection Gal 2:16, Paul was preaching that In Christ we are New Spirit beings 2Co 5:17 Gal 6:15 who are to be filled with the Holy Spirit Eph 5:18.      The crux of the Gospel is redemption, New Birth and Spirit Baptism for the purpose of us being in intimate personal relationship with the Lord and manifesting as Sons Of The Holy Spirit.      We are to be one with Him Joh 17:11 Joh 17:21 Joh 17:23.      We are to do greater works than Him Joh 14:12.      What has this got to do with speaking in tongues?      To enter the Spirit Realm of consciousness we must surrender our soulish self to the New Spirit being who is In Christ.     In so doing, we communicate with the Lord in the Spirit.     That communication manifests as audible sounds coming from our mouth but not our minds - it comes as the Holy Spirit gives utterance.      The purpose of Speaking In Tongues is multi-fold but the most universal and personally powerful aspect is the Prayer Language.     This is what Paul was alluding to.     He prayed in the Holy Spirit and he prayed with the understanding also 1Co 14:15.

Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Eph 5:19 Worship the Lord in Spirit (the Holy Spirit) and Truth ( Word Of The Lord).      Fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit and meditating on His Word is how we worship Him.     He wants us    → to know Him,    → to draw near to Him,    → to recognize that we are one with Him,    → to praise Him with our words    → to sing to Him,    → to shout His glory.      Spiritual songs are songs with melodies that are uplifting with lyrics that echo the Word Of The Lord and His Grace and goodness.

But speak you the things which become sound doctrine: Tit 2:1 Speak sound doctrine - not speculation or hear-say.

If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of the Lord; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which the Lord gives: that the Lord in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever.     Amen. 1Pe 4:11 Be sensitive and obedient to the Holy Spirit who will edify others as He speaks through you and He will edify you as He speaks through others.
