Your Heart is the intersection of your Spirit and your Soul.
Your Spirit is the New Creature.
Your Soul is your Mind and Emotions.
Your Mind and Emotions must both be transformed by your Spirit which is created in the New Birth.
This Transformation of your Soul to come into agreement with your Spirit is by Spiritual Revelation of the Word.
Your Mind is touched by the written or spoken Word. If the Mind agrees with the Word it touches your Heart.
When Holy Spirit joins to you, your Heart is touched. Your Heart agrees with Holy Spirit when your Mind is Renewed.
So, God reveals Himself (and who you are through the New Birth) to your Soul ( Mind and Emotions) through His Word and Holy Spirit. This is the process of Transformation.
You must read and listen to the Word with your Heart. When you do so Holy Spirit makes the Word come alive, bringing Understanding, Joy and Power.
Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
This verse tells us that when you delight yourself in the Lord, He gives us new desires in our Heart.
Holy Spirit leads you by giving you the right desires that will lead you to Success, Happiness and Fruit bearing.
So, Pray in the Spirit
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we Know not what we should Pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh Intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
In so doing, Holy Spirit will place His desires in your Heart.
