The above quote is Why Jesus said we must be BornAgain - of the Spirit. For Him to have set us ' Free indeed' without the New Nature would have unleashed All manner of Evil.
As we look at the current State of our country we See how Liberty has been abused by those Not Born of God's Spirit. As a matter of Fact there is a reactionary Spirit of Bondage that is moving across the country. Laws against Hate crimes, Bigotry , Racism , etc. These Laws are Not needed by those BornAgain. They 'appear' to be needed because of the gross Evil that is being Manifested by Carnal people unable to function in Liberty .
The solution is Not Fascism or more Laws.
Acts 4:12
Neither is there Salvation in any other: for there is none other Name under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
The Name is Jesus. Salvation occurs when we Repent ( Change our Minds about God ). Salvation covers everything for Life and Godliness .
Christians Need to Fight the Good Fight. Jesus did Not carry a first aid kit. He Never managed a Problem. He eradicated the Problem at the root.
It is Time we Teach , Preach and Live the unadulterated Gospel of Jesus Christ :
Isaiah 61:1
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to Preach Good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to Bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim Liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
We are Christ in this world. May we Speak the Truth with His Authority , Power and Love .
Luke 13:3
I tell You , Nay: but, except ye Repent , ye shall All likewise perish.
The Repentance Jesus Spoke of is Change of Mind and Heart. This is done by Receiving Christ as Lord and Savior. The result of not Receiving Christ is that we Perish - Die an untimely Death .
We have experimented with alternative Philosophies and Ideologies. They are failing miserably. Why?
Proverbs 14:12
There is a Way which seemeth Right unto a man, but the end thereof are the Ways of death.
Jesus is the Way , the Truth , the Life
