They enjoy being victorious themselves.   But, more often than not they enjoy Victory vicariously.   

Any time there is competition, people will pick a favorite.   They will invest time and money in support of their favorite.   

Typically, a fan or participant experiences elation or deflation depending on the results of the competition.   

Once a person experiences Victory they want more.   Victory becomes addictive.   

There is usually pretty high costs associated with Victory.   In sports, the participant has to train hard, the team has to spend more for talent.   

In Politics the more hands that are shaken, the more money spent on advertisements, the more speeches, the better the opportumity for Victory.   

In Entertainment , the performer must hone their craft.   They must pay their dues.   They must commit themselves to becoming all they can be.   Then they may have a hit, win Oscars, Grammies, etc.   

But Victory in Sports , Politics and Entertainment are transitory.   They are spikes in our lives whether we are participants or fans.   No one is Victorious forever.   

Except in Christ Jesus !   

Victory in Jesus is constant and Eternal.   It doesn't spike and it doesn't fade.   

Our Victory comes through Jesus Christ :

But thanks be to the Lord, which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1Co 15:57 All we can do is thank the Lord who has given us the victory through the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our Victory comes from His Strength :

O sing unto the Lord a new song; for he has done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, has gotten him the victory. Psm 98:1 Our Lord Jesus Christ is worthy of all praise, glory and honour for the salvation He has wrought by His own will and Holy Spirit.

Death , our worst Enemy has been defeated:

He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord has spoken it. Isa 25:8 The catching up into the clouds occurs as soon as the trumpet blasts at the Lord's appearing.     At that point, the dead in Christ rise first and all that is corruptible in the dead and living believers will be translated into incorruptible.

Our Faith produces our Victory :

For whatsoever is born of the Holy Spirit overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. 1Jn 5:4 Now he hits the nail on the head.     Our faith is what enables Grace to manifest in and through us.

If you are a participant, put your pursuit of Victory and fleeting Glory in perspective.   

If you are a fan pursuing Victory vicariously through your team or your hero, put it in perspective

Whether fan or participant, get off the roller coaster.   

Experience the complete, total, Eternal Victory that Christ has won for You.   

It is multi-faceted Victory Manifesting daily to meet the challenge before you.   

Enable the Victory by Thanking and Praising your hero, Christ Jesus , who has gotten you the Victory!   

Enable the Victory by spending time in the Word Of God.   

Enable the Victory by spending time Praying In The Spirit.
