The costs to consumers have been grossly ignored:
   → Higher maintenance and increased repair costs - older vehicles were engineered in such a way that ethanol is damaging.   
   → Lower mpg
   → New car prices contain the cost of re-engineering fuel systems.   These fuel systems are more likely to fail than gasoline based systems.
