Charles Stanley described the Mind as a grid that is filled with Information of various sorts.   

We Live in an age where the Mind is under constant attack.   The attack is to gain control of your Mind.   

Education , News , Movies , Sports , Music , Politics and Advertisements all attack the Mind with Ideas and perspectives of the people `creating` the Information.   

This verse emphatically instructs us to Listen to God rather than man because men tend toward Lying while He is Truth.   

This verse says that You become a Slave to whatever You yield your Mind.   

The greatest Sin we can commit is the Sin of Unbelief.   

The Secular Humanist world System is Carnal , meaning sensual, material.   

This passage makes Abundantly clear that Minds not focused on, not filled with Spiritual Ideas are in conflict with God and Will result in Death.   

Remember, Death is the absence if Life.   

So for us to experience Abundant Life our Minds must be Transformed into the Mind of Christ.   

Our Minds can Only be Transformed by the Word of God.   

Faith , which is the currency of God`s Kingdom , comes by Hearing the Word of God.   

Visualizing the Christian armament without the Word is to See a soldier incapable of attacking the Enemy.   This means they Will always be on the defensive.   

Victory is a Key part of the Abundant Life that Christ has for Us.   You cannot experience Victory by staying in a defensive posture.   

Understand that God made You in His Image , that He died for You , that You are His Child , that He has made You a New Creature , that He has given You His Spirit , that You have His Word to stand on.   

As You come to this Understanding , Abundant Life Will Manifest with Love , Joy , Peace and Power to the Glory of Christ Jesus.
