Title: Born of the Spirit - New Creature - Born Again

In the New Birth a spiritually dead believer becomes a New Spirit being situated in heaven (the Spirit Realm) with Christ Jesus.
And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
The New Spirit that we are In Christ is sitting in heaven in Christ in the Holy Spirit.     We are now One with Him in the Spirit Realm (heaven) .

But to a large extent this new status is just potential as far as the Physical Realm is concerned.

The challenge for each believer is to enable the New Spirit being to manifest in our thoughts, speech and deeds.

This requires an act of our will for our minds to be transformed to the Mind Of Christ .

To the extent that we allow the Word and Holy Spirit to renew our minds is the extent to which we manifest as Sons Of The Holy Spirit operating in the fruit and gifts of the Holy Spirit and so experiencing Abundant Life .

The understanding of who we are in Christ Jesus opens us up to experience the Abundant Life He promised us.

Not understanding who we are in Christ does not affect His love for us, but it prevents us from reaching our potential.

The New Birth is not about you being refurbished.   It is about a new creature - a New Spirit being.
There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:

The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from the Lord: for no man can do these miracles that you do, except the Lord be with him.
A statement of faith.

Jesus answered and said unto him, Truly, truly, I say unto you, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of heaven.
human beings are born with the Sin Nature - a corrupt spirit.     That corrupt spirit is dead to the Lord .      By being Born Again of the Holy Spirit we can begin to see (understand and appreciate) the Kingdom Of God.

Nicodemus says unto him, How can a man be born when he is old?     can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say unto you, Except a man be born of water and of the Holy Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of heaven.
The Sin Nature must be destroyed and replaced with a New Spirit which exists in the Kingdom Of Heaven.

The Kingdom Of Heaven is the Spirit Realm, which is a dimension of existence higher than that of the space-time continuum in which all physical life exists.

It is not possible for the purely physical to exist in the Spirit Realm.     This is why we must be born of the Spirit.

Being born of water means being born into humanity.     Angels cannot experience the Kingdom Of Heaven in themselves as Born Again humans may .

If there is any confusion about the birth by water being Water Baptism the next verse clears it up.     He connects the water with the flesh.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Holy Spirit is spirit.
Our spirit and our flesh exist in different realms.

Our Spirit exists in the Spirit Realm while our body exists in the Physical Realm.

Our Lord is Spirit and, as such, His existence is in the Spirit Realm.     That is why we must be born of the Spirit - so we can be with the Lord.

But the Holy Spirit, in Christ Jesus, also exists in the Physical Realm.

As the Holy Spirit breathed life into Adam, so He did into the womb of Mary and Jesus became a living human soul.

So, our Lord is Spirit Soul And Body just as we who were created in His image are.

Marvel not that I said unto you, You must be born again.
This is the first time Nicodemus has heard about being Born Again.

The wind blows where it intends, and you hear the sound thereof, but can not tell where it comes, and where it goes: so is every one that is born of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus is simply saying that you cannot see the Spirit nor detect who has been born of the Spirit with natural eyes.

Calvinists say this scripture implies that the Spirit decides who will be born of the Spirit and who are not.     If that were the case why did Jesus bother telling Nicodemus he must be born again.

Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
He did not understand that man is Spirit Soul And Body.

Jesus answered and said unto him, Are you a master of Israel, and know not these things?
Understanding of spiritual things comes by the Holy Spirit according to our Love Of The Truth as evidenced by our hunger and thirst for it.

Truly, truly, I say unto you, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and you receive not our witness.
Jesus is saying He has first hand knowledge of what He is talking about but Nicodemus was skeptical.

If I have told you earthly things, and you believe not, how shall you believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

And no man has ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man who is in heaven.
Jesus is prophesying His upcoming ascension on the basis that He came from heaven and is right now in heaven.

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
He was lifted up on the cross.

That whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
faith In Christ results in the New Birth which is Eternal Life.

For the Holy Spirit so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
The Holy Spirit is the eternal, omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent Creator of all things by the Word.

What world is John speaking of?
The earth and all the people born into humanity.

The Holy Spirit is love and love is of the Holy Spirit.

The world was created by the Lord and it is good.     We know that man chose rebellion against the Lord and so humanity became evil.     But the Lord loves the people of this world and so He birthed Christ Jesus into the world to redeem it and us.

Love is what led the Holy Spirit to be born as a human, to suffer and die for us.

The Gospel is heard and those who are hungry are lead by the Holy Spirit to believe and receive the Truth.

The Truth sets us free from sin, from death and hell and brings us to Eternal Life by the infilling of the Holy Spirit.

Here is understanding:
    Everlasting Life is Eternal Life
Eternal Life is union with the Holy Spirit.

For the Holy Spirit sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Condemnation is of Satan.     He tempted Eve to cause her to fall into condemnation.     He is our accuser.     He hates humanity.

But the Lord loves us and desires for us to be saved - to experience eternal, abundant life.

He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of the Holy Spirit.
The only criteria the Lord has for us is that we receive His Son.     The only sin that will send a person to the Lake Of Fire is the sin of not believing on Christ Jesus.

And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
Jesus has forgiven all sin.     But the sin of unbelief in that fact condemns the unbeliever to hell.

Why is such a free and loving gift rejected by so many?     They are rebellious by nature and they love sin.     And that attitude makes them enemies of good.

Those who allow evil to reign in their lives prefer the cover of darkness so they do not have to see the truth.     They also prefer others to be in darkness so those do not see the wickedness either.

For every one that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
Basic Truth about human behaviour.

But he that does truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in the Lord.
A Love Of The Truth draws us toward the Lord.

The Light that Jesus talked aboout is revelation of who He is by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.   We are Born Again by the Word and Holy Spirit.

We do not experience the Wonderful things of God through the flesh.   We experience them through the new spirit being that we are in Christ.

Our Soul (mind and emotions) must be transformed by the Word of God in order for the Wonderful power of God to manifest in the flesh.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
The new creation is hidden with Christ in the Holy Spirit.
The only way that it manifests is through a transformed mind.

We do not get the transformed mind at the point of faith.     We get it by absorbing the Word Of The Lord and meditating on it in the Holy Spirit.     We must then walk out that which is in our mind and heart.

Old things have passed away and all things have become new as far as the Lord is concerned, but we must forget the past and see ourselves as the Lord sees us for the effect of the old things to pass away from our minds and hearts.

We must choose to see all things as new in order to experience new things.

Satan has convinced many Christians to simply live a better life.   We are to live the new life that is our spirit.   This life is one of love, joy, peace, power and abundance.

Don't settle for less than your inheritance in Christ Jesus!

Receive the Holy Spirit and fellowship with Him.   Meditate on the Word.   pray in the spirit.   The real You will manifest to the glory of Jesus Christ!

20190110 - The Mirror When we look into the mirror of God's Word we see who we are in Christ - the new creature.

But unless we stare into that mirror long enough, when we turn away we will forget the new creature and remember the old man and so walk in the flesh, in fear and in weakness.

It is only the new creature that can do all things because he is in Christ.   We must see it to be it.
