| Let my mouth be filled [with] thy praise [and with] thy honour all the day . - |
I [am] the LORD thy God , which brought thee out of the land of Egypt : open thy mouth wide , and I will fill it. - |
For he satisfieth the longing soul , and filleth the hungry soul with goodness . - |
Then was our mouth filled with laughter , and our tongue with singing : then said they among the heathen , The LORD hath done great things for them .( hath : Heb. hath magnified to do with them ) - |
Blessed [are] they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness : for they shall be filled . - This is an if-and-only-if statement by Jesus. He is saying that only those who hunger and thirst after righteousness will be filled. Those who do not hunger and thirst can not and will not be filled. Draw near to the Lord and He will draw near to you. I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. |
And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind , and it filled all the house where they were sitting . - |
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost , and began to speak with other tongues , as the Spirit gave them utterance . - |
