Did you know that God owns everything in the universe?
Did you know we are His children by faith in Christ Jesus?
What kind of parent (who purports to be love) would hold back his riches from His children?
It is Satan who steals , kills and destroys. Christ provides Abundant Life.
Christians who believe that God is evil (is rich but keeps His children poor) have been robbed of the truth.
Jesus said if we seek first His Kingdom and righteousness, All these things will be added to you .
What things? The material things of His creation.
I cannot speak to what is in a person's heart, but I can judge them by what they say.
Kenneth Copeland preaches the 'real' Gospel (good News) of Jesus Christ and he has been blessed with those other things.
Too many Christians have believed Satans lies about wealth, prosperity and abundance. If God's abundance is not for His children who is it for?
Don't believe what you have been told. Believe what Christ said.
And Jesus answered and said, Truly I say unto you, There is no man that has left house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, - Mar 10:29Nothing that we give is lost or goes unrewarded. |
The Road to Abundance by Barry Bennett
What if I told you that you could enter into an abundant, prosperous life even if you currently don’t have any money? The steps to prosperity don’t require material resources in Order to start. Resources are a Fruit , Not a root of Prosperity. Consider the following Spiritual principles:
1. “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.†(Prov 23:7)
Begin with how You See yourself. How do you think about yourself and your life? Do You have a victim mentality? Do you expect others to take care of you? Do you see yourself as poor, needy and at the mercy of circumstances? If so, that is going to be your future. Everything begins with what is going on in your heart.
“A Good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.†(Mat 12:35) Prosperity begins within. This is the most important and fundamental aspect of the Abundant Life.
If there is no abundance within, there will be lack in your world. fear, depression, anxiety and worry all work against abundance and prosperity. The condition of your heart right Now is a picture of your future!
2. “But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.†(Mat 6:33)
It doesn’t cost anything to seek God and His Kingdom. Understanding how the Kingdom works is incredibly important if we want to enter in God’s abundant life. Understanding righteousness is equally important. The revelation of righteousness establishes us in a place of peace with God.
Kingdom principles give us God’s wisdom for building our lives in Him. There is no substitute for spending time in God’s Word and having Him reveal the secrets of the Kingdom to us. The seed of the Word when planted in the good soil of our hearts (see #1) will produce according to its nature. And the nature of God’s Word is always increase, wisdom, Grace and abundance. And the things of life shall be ‘added’ to you!
3. “Let the peoples Praise you, O God; Let all the peoples praise you. 6 Then the earth shall yield her increase; God, our own God, shall bless us..†(Psa 67:5-6)
A life of praise and thanksgiving is a reflection of a heart filled with hope and joy. This is an extension of #1 as well, but is more focused. Do you praise God and give thanks for His goodness? Do you understand His Grace in giving you air to breathe, water to drink, food, clothing, a place to Live and people who love you?
You may be saying that you don’t have some of those things, but the condition of your heart may be the reason why you don’t. Begin to offer up the sacrifice of praise. See God as your source and begin to thank Him for your life, your eternity, your purpose and your potential. Praise releases the increase of God into your life!
4. “A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.†(Prov 18:20)
Your words spring from your heart. “for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.†(Luke 6:45) Your words can create wealth and abundance. Your words can create opportunities, open doors of favor and blessing, and release faith into your circumstances. Words cost nothing but carry within them prosperity or poverty.
You can be satisfied in the material world through the power of the words you speak! Are you speaking life, blessings, peace, love and abundance into your circumstances? Or, are you cursing your future with words of doubt, fear and lack? Your future is being shaped by your words.
5. Honor the LORD with your substance, and with the firstfruits of all your increase : So shall your barns be filled with plenty, and your presses shall burst out with new wine. (Prov 3:9-10)
We only now begin to get into the realm of our current resources and how we handle them. True prosperity begins with principles 1 through 4. But, that being said everyone has something they can give to God. Honoring the Lord from your increase is an extension of a thankful heart which recognizes God’s goodness , and that He is the source of our lives.
I cannot imagine thinking about prosperity without honoring God from what I have. Without getting into specifics, honoring God is simply giving to the Lord from your increase. How do we give to the Lord?
Usually this refers to supporting the work of the Lord that is blessing and feeding us spiritually. Giving to your church or to the ministries that build you up is a way to honor God. This is not a debt you owe but rather an opportunity to release His Grace into your life.
The Philippian Church gave repeatedly and sacrificially to Paul, and this was the promise that accompanied their giving : “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.†(Phil 4:15-19) prosperity and abundance are an extension of your heart relationship with God.
6. “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.†(Luke 6:38)
Giving isn’t just a formula we must follow, but is truly the extension of the very nature of God Himself. God so loved the world that He gave. Giving is an expression of love. When our hearts are filled with God’s love, giving will be an automatic expression of that love. Jesus gave Himself for us.
He promised that as we give, we Will receive. Giving is an act of faith. Giving is the very nature of God. In every act of giving there is a seed that is programmed for increase. That is how the Kingdom Works (Mar 4:26).
Prosperity begins within. Prosperity involves working a job, being diligent and faithful , budgeting, etc. But everything begins with the condition of your heart. A prosperous heart will guide You into decisions that bring forth God’s abundance. You don’t need anything to start on the road to abundance other than a heart that is truly transformed by the love of God.
The Prosperity of God’s Word by Barry Bennett
Many approach their relationship with God as an afterthought to a busy, stressful life. They feel they must make do, multitask, and hope for the best. Perhaps, at the end of the day, they might ask God to bless them or console them.
Did You know that everything you need for abundant, victorious Living is available to you?
“So shall my Word be….it is as rain that Waters the earth and makes it bring forth and bud….it gives seed to the sower…it shall not return to Me void, but shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.†(Isa 55:10-11 adapted)
Everything you need is packaged in God’s Word. His Word is seed that contains His nature and purposes. It is designed for increase and abundance. peace, joy, faith, love, health, victory and prosperity are all alive in God’s Word. But it is seed that must be sown.
When a seed is place in the right environment (good soil), it will produce according to its nature. When God’s Word is sown into our hearts and into our environments, it Will also produce according to its nature. It shall accomplish its purpose.
His Word is also like the rain. In that sense, His Word (rain) waters His Word (seed). The more we release God’s Word into every situation of life, we are sowing and watering at the same time. We should expect a blessed harvest!
Seeds of fear, doubt, unbelief, bitterness and offense will also produce according to their nature. Your heart determines the nature of the seed you sow. (Mat 12:34-35)
Let God’s Word work in your life. Separate yourself from anything that contradicts God’s Word. Soak in it. Proclaim it. Give it room to prosper.
“My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart ; For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.†(Prov 4:20-22)
20190103 - The Prosperity Gospel Haters
One of the greatest pleasures I have is 'defending' my brothers and sisters who have prospered greatly in their ministries. (By the way , I have a small church of less than 100). It gives me the opportunity to talk about the greatness of God (His wealth) and the magnitude of His love and Grace; to talk about Sowing And Reaping and the limitless life of faith.
I encourage All Christians to study and Pray until they get to the point where their Vision of God blows their Minds - to the point where they can Say : "I know in whom I have Believed !"
Would you take more? by Barry Bennett
Some are satisfied with just getting by. They call it contentment but if you offered them more, they would take it.
They would take a happier marriage. They would take better health. They would take successful children. They would take a job that they enjoyed and paid them more.
They would love to build an orphanage, or finance a missionary in a faraway land. They aren’t really content, they are resigned.
Did you know that the potential for increase has been designed into your heart and mind? “A good man out of the good treasure of the heart brings forth good things.†(Mat 12:35)
Did you know that the words of your mouth can release or block your blessing? (Prov 18:20-21)
Did you know that the abundant life isn’t just about you being blessed, but is really about you being able to bless others?
“You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way.†(2Cor 9:11)
The first step to increase is to get a true understanding of the nature of God.
Until you believe that there is more for you, you will continue to live in mental, emotional, spiritual and physical poverty. Lift up your eyes and get a vision of the God of increase!
The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children. (Psa 115:14)
The very nature of God is increase. His expectation from the beginning is to see us walk in “exceeding abundantly more than we can ask or think.†(Eph 3:20)
Experiencing God’s abundance begins with a revelation of God’s nature, and the purpose for your life.
Sow the love you have and expect more. Sow the joy you have and bless others. Sow your gifts and talents.
Bring forth the good that is in your heart. There is more waiting for you but you have to “see†it inside of you.
Are You Free to Prosper? by Barry Bennett
There are many believers who don’t understand the topic of prosperity. They haven’t understood that prosperity and increase is the very nature of God, and the nature of His Word (see Isa 55:11). Prosperity is the new birth – from death to life, from darkness to light. Prosperity is the renewed mind. Prosperity is living from the fruit of the Spirit rather than from feelings and human emotions. Prosperity is health and healing for the body. Prosperity is loving, healthy relationships. Prosperity is the peace and joy of the Lord. And prosperity is having more than enough to bless others and fulfill God's call on your life.
Poverty isn’t a part of God’s creation. God is against everything that brings poverty: ignorance, laziness, sin, injustice, and sickness. When people get offended at prosperity, they are actually offended at the goodness and nature of God. They are offended at “the full blessing of the gospel†(Rom 15:29).
Everyone who criticizes prosperity is revealing their own hearts. All who criticize have houses, cars, bank accounts, jobs, computers, WIFI, etc. They have money and would like more. But for some reason, if someone talks about the prosperity of God, they get offended. Yet, those who criticize are probably in the top 10% of the wealthiest people on earth. If they are so against money, they should get rid of it, quit working, and be homeless.
If you are against abundance, you are going to hate heaven. The streets are paved with gold! The Garden of Eden was a place of prosperity, and it was given to man. The wealth of the earth was meant for God’s people, not for the wicked. Religion has taught us that poverty is godliness, and just getting by is all we should expect. How can we be a light to the world and show them the goodness of God if we are sick and broke and they have the wealth that God intended for us?
The most prosperous people are the cheerful givers. They “get it.†They have God’s heart. They aren’t afraid of having more than enough. They are free to enjoy God’s abundance on every level and be a blessing with no fear.
