Jesus gives us the power of the Holy Spirit by His authority for us to heal and deliver.
Jesus enables the disciples to practice operating in the Holy Spirit before the Holy Spirit was given. He simply annointed them with His power in which their faith would reside.
Every victory we achieve results in greater power to achieve more.
The authority comes from the Word. The power comes from the Holy Spirit. When the Word and the Holy Spirit are exercised no power can stand against us.
The Holy Spirit begat Jesus.
The fact that Jesus rose from the dead is the seal of his deity.
Paul's sincerity and spiritual integrity provided a base for the power of the Holy Spirit to manifest mighty signs and wonders as he preaced the Gospel in its totality.
The Lord has turned His power over to us to do the work of Christ on His behalf.
We are in partnership with the Lord. We provide the mind and body and He provides the Word and the Spirit. Until we understand this arrangement we will not see the power of the Lord manifested through us.
When Saul was converted He fully appreciated the new reality that he had glimpsed in Christ's appearing to him. He willingly submitted himself to that revelation and upon being Baptised with the Holy Spirit went to Arabia where the Holy Spirit revealed Grace and faith to him. The Holy Spirit who gave the revelation also empowered Paul to preach the Gospel.
The power that works in us is the Holy Spirit who is the Gift Of Christ.
Our Lord is only able to do these wonderful things by His Holy Spirit in us while the Holy Spirit power is effective only to the extent that we submit to Him.

We are counted worthy when we recognize and respond to the Lord Jesus Christ with worship and service.
The Word Of The Lord does not need embellishment with man's wisdom but it does need to be accompanied by healings, miracles and exorcisms.
Paul is invoking the authority of the Lord in what he is about to say.
Fear is a spirit. It comes from the enemy who steals our peace whenever opportunity arises.
Power is a Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit.
Love is a Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit.
A Sound Mind is a Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit.
Power, love and a Sound Mind are given to us by the Holy Spirit in us.
