Title: To search for

But Seek ye first the Kingdom of God , and His Righteousness ; and All these things shall be added unto you.

This is a Spiritual Law.   It Works just like the Law of gravity.

To Seek something requires that we use all of our senses to detect what is not apparent.

We use our Eyes primarily when we Seek something.   Our Eyes are able to send the Image of what we are looking at to our brains can process it.   Our brain determines whether the Image matches what we are Seeking or not.

Sometimes we Seek using our Ears.   If we are Seeking something that makes noises our Ears may detect the object of our search before our Eyes do.

Have you ever sought something in Darkness ?   If there is no Light your Eyes are ineffective so we use touch.   We can feel around and our hands will locate what we Seek.

If we are looking for something that we know is not nearby we use our feet or other transportaion to go where we have a better chance of finding what we Seek.

Sometimes what we Seek has a specific odor so we use our sense of smell to look for it.   "I know there are a pair of dirty socks in this room.   It smells like they are under the bed."

Last but not least, when we Seek after a marriage partner, we Seek with our Hearts.    "She/He`s the one!" means we have found the person we Seek by our Heart.

Jesus told us to Seek the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness.   He wants us to use every sense and all the energy we can muster to Find it.   Why?

Because "All these things will be added unto you."

God wants you to enjoy His Creation but He wants you to do it the right Way.

The right Way is through Him, in Him and with Him.

To Seek the Kingdom of God is to Seek the King.

To Seek the Righteousness of God is to Seek the Savior whe gives us His Righteousness ,

To Seek the King and Savior is to Seek Christ Jesus who is Saviour and Lord ( King).

"Without me { Jesus) you can do nothing" -

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" -

"I Received Jesus by Faith and so I have found what He commanded me to Seek " -

"He { Jesus} supplies all my needs" -

"He has forgiven my Sins and Healed my diseases" -

"He has made me His child" -

"He has filled me with His Spirit " -

"He has prospered me" -

"He has prepared a place for me" -

"He has given me 24/7 access" -

"He will deny me no good thing" -

"He will give me the desires of my Heart " -

" All these things have been added to me!"

But have you ever re-lost something?

The Enemy comes to Steal ...

As you get older you find that it is easier to lose things.   But, you can`t lose something that is close to you regardless of your age.

So, keep your Focus on the prize - Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour.

"Turn your eyes upon Jesus.   Look full in His Wonderful face.   And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the Light of His Glory and Grace ."

  • The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and Seek God.

  • The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and Seek God.

  • Let all those that Seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The Lord be magnified.

  • O God, thou art my God; early will I Seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

  • Let all those that Seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

  • Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that Seek the Lord.

  • Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that Seek him with the whole heart.

  • For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live:
  • Matthew 7
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; Seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that Seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

  • Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, Seeking goodly pearls:
  • Luke 12
29 And Seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
30 For all these things do the nations of the world Seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
31 But rather Seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.

  • Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will Seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

  • For the Son of man is come to Seek and to save that which was lost.

  • Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye Seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.

  • Then asked he them again, Whom Seekye?   And they said, Jesus of Nazareth.

  • that they should Seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

  • For all Seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ?s.

  • If ye then be risen with Christ, Seekthose things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

  • But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently Seekhim.
