Before then he had no Knowledge of Evil - Only Good.   

Your Conscience may be Good or Evil.   

You determine what Kind of Conscience You have.   

"Let your Conscience be your guide".   ???????   

We are to Walk by Faith in the Spirit.   We are not to Follow our Conscience.   

But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat of it: for in the day that you eat thereof you shall surely die. Gen 2:17

Our Conscience came Alive when we ate of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil

Do You have a weak Conscience ?    8:7 8:12

Is your Conscience seared ?    4:1-9 Do You have a Pure Conscience?   !onsert Romans 2:15

And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward the Lord, and toward men. Act 24:16 Exercise, Conscience

But if any man say unto you, This is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that showed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof: 1Co 10:28 If the person makes a point of some false spiritual significance in the food that is offerered, refuse it because of the error implied by the eating.

For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of the Holy Spirit, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward. 2Co 1:12 Paul layed aside his ability to speak from secular education and even pharasaical knowledge.     Rather, he spoke the simple Gospel of Christ Jesus, the Son Of The Holy Spirit, crucified and raised from the dead, the giver of the Holy Spirit.

Now the end of the commandment is love out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: 1Ti 1:5 Heart Faith in love by the Holy Spirit is our state of existence.     Such is a Pure Heart.

Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck: 1Ti 1:19 The Holy Spirit is our teacher.     Our conscience is taught by the Holy Spirit.     By turning away from the urgings of the Holy Spirit we come to destruction.

Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience. 1Ti 3:9 The mystery of the faith is the amazing Grace of the Lord which has exhonerated us of what we deserve while giving to us that which we could never merit.      Unless we understand the perfect sacrifice of Christ Jesus and the power of His finished work, we are hounded by an Evil Conscience.      But, when we relax and receive the Word that the Lord has spoken over us, we have a Pure Conscience and can therefore come boldly to the throne of Grace for whatever we desire.     Heb 4:16 Mar 11:24

I thank the Lord, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of you in my prayers night and day; 2Ti 1:3 It is a blessing to be prayed for by others and to pray for others.

Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. Tit 1:15 When a person cannot accept the finished work of Christ in all its implications they will find fault with everthing and everyone.

Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; Heb 9:9 All of the formal ceremonial actions were only to teach us our need for a Saviour.

How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to the Lord, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living Holy Spirit? Heb 9:14 Our conscience is our heart, Our hearts were corrupted by the Sin Nature.     Christ Jesus has made us a New Spirit being through the New Birth by the Word and Holy Spirit.      God does not want us to experience guilt.     guilt undermines faith.     This is why we have to believe that Christ Jesus has taken all sin and all the guilt associated with it and all the punishment for it upon Himself.      Without complete exoneration we could never walk in Newness Of Life.      Believe and walk in eternal, abundant life.

For then would they not have ceased to be offered?     because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins. Heb 10:2 One of the benefits that many Christians never appropriate for themselves is having no conscience of sins.      This is because they remain Carnal Minded looking at their flesh rather than who they are In Christ by reflecting on the grandness of His finished work.     We are to replace our conscience of sin with a conscience of Christ.

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Heb 10:22 A true heart is an honest, open, informed heart that rests in the Word Of The Lord.     It reflects a Pure Conscience.     Whereas, an Evil Conscience is one which condemns us by denying the total, perfect efficacy of Christ's shed blood.      We ought to draw near to the Lord because that is what He wants and made possible for us.      It is what we were created for and it is how we experience Eternal Life and Abundant Life.

And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, says the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Jer 31:34 God has willed, proclaimed and performed our Salvation In Christ Jesus.

Is your Conscience your guide?   

A Pure Conscience will operate in Love.   An impure Conscience Will operate in Guilt and accusation.   

Even once your Conscience is purged and made Pure our guide is the Word and the Holy Spirit.   

Do You have an "evil conscience"?   

You can be a bona-fide Christian and yet have an "evil conscience".   

An "evil Conscience " is one which Condemns You and/or causes You to Condemn others.   

An Evil Conscience is extremely destructive!   

What is the cure for an "evil conscience"?   

It must be sprinkled with the Blood of Christ Jesus.   

What does that mean?   

If means You Consider the completeness and finality of Christ's shed Blood to cover All Sin for All Time for each of us.   When You do so, the Love of God Will Manifest in your Heart so that You experience Forgiveness for yourself and others.   

That "evil Conscience " Will Give Way to a "pure Heart " and a "good conscience".
