Christians have a responsibility to use the resources which God has given to them in a manner that brings glory to God.

The cable and satellite TV service providers have packaged their products so that immoral, destructive programs are funded by their subscribers.   In order for a subscriber to obtain any program from these providers they must provide funding for the trash programs.

In no other area of commerce are clients forced to pay for products or services they do not want in order to obtain what they really want.

The cable and satellite providers must be forced to change their business model so that their clients only pay for the programs they want.   The only way this will happen is for a significant number of clients to terminate their subscriptions.   When subscriptions are terminated the provider will ask the reason.   The reason can simply be stated this way: I only want to pay for the programs I watch.

The reasons for service cancellation will be analyzed by the providers.   When the number of cancellations becomes significant and the same reason keeps showing there will be a change in the provider business model.

Christians can continue to receive programming by other means.   Many ministry programs are available via antenna TV.   Christian ministry web sites have links to their TV programming so that the programs may be viewed online.   Christians can order materials from their favorite ministries.

The most effective way to implement a boycott is everyone at the same time .   Let's pick a date, communicate the plan to Christians, and contact our service providers.

We have the voice, we have the finances, we have the responsibility and, acting together, we can make a change.
