What is Grace?   

To fall from it is to stop relating to the Lord who provides Grace.   

Consider Samson:

And there was a certain man of Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Manoah; and his wife was barren, and bare not. Jug 13:2

And the angel of the Lord appeared unto the woman, and said unto her, Behold now, you are barren, and bear not: but you shall conceive, and bear a son. Jug 13:3

For, lo, you shall conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto the Lord from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines. Jug 13:5

And the woman bare a son, and called his name Samson: and the child grew, and the Lord blessed him. Jug 13:24

And the Holy Spirit began to move him at times in the camp of Dan between Zorah and Eshtaol. Jug 13:25

And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Holy Spirit came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands. Jug 15:14

And he judged Israel in the days of the Philistines twenty years. Jug 15:20

Then went Samson to Gaza, and saw there an harlot, and went in unto her. Jug 16:1

And it came to pass afterward, that he loved a woman in the valley of Sorek, whose name was Delilah. Jug 16:4

And Delilah said to Samson, Tell me, I pray you, wherein your great strength lies, and wherewith you might be bound to afflict you. Jug 16:6

That he told her all his heart, and said unto her, There has not come a razor upon mine head; for I have been a Nazarite unto the Lord from my mother's womb: if I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man. Jug 16:17

And she said, The Philistines be upon you, Samson.     And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself.     And he knew not that the Lord was departed from him. Jug 16:20 When you knowingly, wilfully and repeatedly turn your back on God, do not be surprised when He leaves you on your own.      America, are you listening?

But the Philistines took him, and put out his eyes, and brought him down to Gaza, and bound him with fetters of brass; and he did grind in the prison house. Jug 16:21

And Samson called unto the Lord, and said, O Lord, remember me, I pray you, and strengthen me, I pray you, only this once, O Lord, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes. Jug 16:28

And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines.     And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein.     So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life. Jug 16:30

In looking at the state of America, it is important to note that America in its Constitution did not declare Christ Jesus as King Of Kings and Lord Of Lords.   It did not put a religious test in the Constitution.   

Why?   

Fundamentally, it assumed Christianity and it was afraid that such a test would be along the lines of denominationalism.   

So, the door was left open for us to become a secular nation.   

As a secular nation we are not strong.   

Because our beginnings were with the Lord we did great exploits.   

As we have abandoned the Lord we have become susceptible to our enemies.   

We cannot fight for ourselves and win.   We must fight for Truth and Freedom In Christ Jesus in order for the Holy Spirit to enmpower us to victory.   

This is true for us personally and it is true for us nationally.   

Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things says he that holds the seven stars in his right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; Rev 2:1 ministers are upheld by Christ.     churches have Christ moving in their midst.      Christ speaks to the messenger who is to relay His message to the people in the church.

I know your works, and your labour, and your patience, and how you can not bear them which are evil: and you have tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and have found them liars: Rev 2:2 Ephesus was a sanctified church.     They were staunch adherents to the Gospel of Grace Through Faith.

And have borne, and have patience, and for my name's sake have laboured, and have not fainted. Rev 2:3 Ephesus was diligent.     They worked for the kingdom and held fast to their faith.

Nevertheless I have somewhat against you, because you have left your first love. Rev 2:4 Ephesus had substituted religion for relationship.     They had become ritualistic instead of Spirit Filled.

Remember therefore from where you are fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto you quickly, and will remove your candlestick out of his place, except you repent. Rev 2:5 What are the First Works of a believer?      To hear the Word, to believe it, to receive it and to do it.      To resist the teaching and leading of the Word and Holy Spirit puts one in jeopardy of losing their influence - i.e.     having their candlestick removed.     The church at Ephesus no longer exists.
