I would like to be able to show scriptures supporting such an event.
But unfortunately, the only scriptures
that possibly give rise to faith in such an event are those which speak to the element of surprise when Christ Jesus returns.
That element of surprise is because people of faith will largely have given up waiting for His return.
Those outside the faith have long ago dismissed the idea as pure mythology.
So, when our Lord appears in the sky to people all around the earth at once, manifesting glory surpassing anything ever imagined, the people of the earth will be simultaneously amazed and terrified.
The surprise element is not sufficient for believing in the Silent Rapture.
The Day Of The Lord begins with the rapture, immediately followed by the Day Of Wrath, and is culminated with the Marriage Supper of the Lamb when the Lord Jesus Christ and His translated saints set foot on earth to begin the Millennial Kingdom.
The Day Of The Lord, the Day Of Wrath and the Marriage Supper occur on the same literal day at the end of the Great Tribulation at the Last Trump.
