And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with diverse diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.    - Mat 4:24

Jesus' Power to Heal and Deliver made Him famous but it was the Word which He taught that Transformed the lives of those who Believed .

And Jesus says unto him, I will come and heal him.    - Mat 8:7

Again, Jesus is willing to Heal anyone at any time .

The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that you should come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed .    - Mat 8:8

The Power of command Authority is understood by the Centurion and He expected the command Authority of Jesus to Heal his Servant .     This is Faith .

And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go your way; and as you have believed, so be it done unto you.     And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.    - Mat 8:13

Faith in Christ Jesus is what Saves us, Fills us, Heals us and will ultimately Raise us at His appearing.

When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: - Mat 8:16

It is God's Will that the Captive be set Free and that the Sick be Healed .     Period.

And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people .    - Mat 9:35

Preaching and teaching the Word is necessary for Healing to manifest .

And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease .    - Mat 10:1

Jesus gives us the Power of the Holy Spirit by His Authority for us to Heal and Deliver .

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely you have received, freely give .    - Mat 10:8

This command is to His Disciples .      Disciples listen to their Master, receive His Words into their Hearts and then they do what He has commanded.      How do we do these things?     On His Authority by Faith and Obedience .

And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered.     And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days?     that they might accuse him.    - Mat 12:10

Is Law or Grace appropriate ?      Law keeps us in jeopardy as their are always accusers standing by.

But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from there: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all; - Mat 12:15

Jesus avoided immediate destruction by leaving.      Believers followed Him and were Healed .

Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spoke and saw.    - Mat 12:22

Another example of how Physical symptoms are connected to demonic possession.     When the Demon was cast out, the Physical symptoms disappeared.     Modern Psychology does not admin to demonic possession and so treats the Physical and Mental symptoms with only marginal success .

For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.    - Mat 13:15

God cannot help someone who does not want to be helped.     The dull ears and eyes are metaphors for Hearts that are not interested in God .     When a person draws near to God, He draws near to them.

And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick .    - Mat 14:14

The multitudes that followed Him believed in Him and so their Faith along with His Compassion enabled Him to Heal their Sick .

And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them: - Mat 15:30

The multitudes came to Him.     This is a critical point.     Their coming was an act of Faith .     Their casting the sick and maimed at Jesus's feet was committed Faith .      Jesus always responds to Faith .

And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there.    - Mat 19:2

Those who come to Jesus receive what they need .

And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.    - Mat 21:14

They came to Him.      Jesus meets the needs of all those who come to Him.

And he healed many that were sick of diverse diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.    - Mar 1:34

In another place it says He Healed all the people .     It is more accurate to say He Healed some of the people because only those who Believe that He can and will Heal are Healed .     Scoffers and Doubters do not Receive that which is appropriated by Faith .

And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.    - Mar 3:2

Critics want to see you Fail because they Hate you.

For he had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many as had plagues.    - Mar 3:10

Faith, that one touch of the Master will deliver, worked then and will work now.

And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils: - Mar 3:15

The ordination of the twelve by Jesus was necessary because He had not yet covered their Sins, and so, they had not Received the Holy Spirit (the ordainer).

And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lies at the point of death: I pray you, come and lay your hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live .    - Mar 5:23

Jairus believed that Jesus could Heal his daughter.

And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.    - Mar 5:29

As she believed .     so was she Healed at the moment of the touch .

And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.    - Mar 6:5

As a result of the Unbelief and resentment He did not do there what He had done throughout the other cities He had ministered.     However, even in a community of Unbelief, there are still Believers .     Jesuis Healed those Believers who were Sick .

And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them.    - Mar 6:13

So the Annointing that Jesus gave the Disciple (who had not yet been Filled with the Holy Spirit) enabled them to do similar Healing and Miracles as did Jesus .     The Holy Spirit was upon them as was the case with Elijah and Elisha.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, - Luk 4:18

This Prophecy is of Jesus the Messiah .

And he said unto them, You will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal yourself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in your country.    - Luk 4:23

Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with diverse diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.    - Luk 4:40

Jesus touched the infirm releasing Power to Heal in their bodies.

But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.    - Luk 5:15

The fame corresponded to Faith .

And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.    - Luk 5:17

So the movers and shakers came down to Hear and See Him and the Power of God moved to Heal them.

And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him.    - Luk 6:7

Straining at gnats.

And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases; - Luk 6:17

Jesus left the towns where Unbelief reigned to go to the sea shore, mountains and, in this case, the plains to escape the Unbelievers so that Healings and Miracles could be done.

And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed .    - Luk 6:18

Exorcism and Healing is part of the ministry of the Holy Spirit through us,

And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.    - Luk 6:19

All the people that followed Him to the plains Believed in Him and so were all Healed .

And when he heard of Jesus, he sent unto him the elders of the Jews, beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant .    - Luk 7:3

He used his leverage as a Roman centurion to have the Jewish elders approach Jesus .

Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto you: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed .    - Luk 7:7

He understands the Power of Words and Faith .

And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils, - Luk 8:2

They also which saw it told them by what means he that was possessed of the devils was healed .    - Luk 8:36

And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, - Luk 8:43

And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.    - Luk 8:47

Testimony is important after Receiving .

And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick .    - Luk 9:2

The Word must precede the demonstration of Power .     The Word brings for Faith on which the Power operates.

And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where.    - Luk 9:6

The Disciples did these things on the Authority of Jesus' Commission .

And the people, when they knew it, followed him: and he received them, and spoke unto them of the kingdom of God, and healed them that had need of healing .    - Luk 9:11

Preach the Kingdom and Healings will follow .

And as he was yet a coming, the devil threw him down, and tare him.     And Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the child, and delivered him again to his father .    - Luk 9:42

We ought to Rebuke Satan and destroy his works whenever we encounter them.

And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come near unto you.    - Luk 10:9

The seventy were given Power to Heal in the Name of Jesus .

And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.    - Luk 13:14

He asks the Legal and Religious experts a question regarding Good .

And they held their peace .     And he took him, and healed him, and let him go; - Luk 14:4

Good is of God who is above Legalism and Religiosity .

And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, - Luk 17:15

And Jesus answered and said, Suffer you thus far.     And he touched his ear, and healed him.    - Luk 22:51

When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death .    - Joh 4:47

And he that was healed knew not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place .    - Joh 5:13

He has blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.    - Joh 12:40

The result of rejecting Jesus Christ was that a blindness settled over the eyes of the people as they hardened their hearts against the Truth .      It appeared that God did this to Israel, but they did it to themselves.      Otherwise, Jesus would not have wasted His time preaching and teaching them.      See notes from Exo 4:21

And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering.    - Act 3:11

And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.    - Act 4:14

I am sure that enraged them.     The Truth is always offensive to those who clothe themselves in Darkness .

For the man was above forty years old, on whom this miracle of healing was showed.    - Act 4:22

By stretching forth your hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of your holy child Jesus .    - Act 4:30

The Name Of Jesus is the encapsulation of the Gospel of the Kingdom .      We ought always unpack and rehearse what the Name Of Jesus implies.

There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.    - Act 5:16

When the Holy Spirit is given Free Reign by Faith Miracles happen.

For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed .    - Act 8:7

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.    - Act 10:38

Heal, Power, Service, Healing , Empowerment

The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, - Act 14:9

Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you.    - Act 27:34

And it came to pass, that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and of a bloody flux: to whom Paul entered in, and prayed, and laid his hands on him, and healed him.    - Act 28:8

So when this was done, others also, which had diseases in the island, came, and were healed: - Act 28:9

For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.    - Act 28:27

To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; - 1Co 12:9

Note the operations of the Spirit and His oneness .

And God has set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings , helps, governments, diversities of tongues .    - 1Co 12:28

Our role is determined by a combination of the following: → Our desire → Our calling → God's purpose → Our willingness

Have all the gifts of healing ?      do all speak with tongues ?      do all interpret?    - 1Co 12:30

The answer is no for the reason laid out in the comment to 1Co 12:28 .

And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed .    - Heb 12:13

It sounds like there are some stubborn, hardened people whom Paul is addressing.      Do they have a Love Of The Truth or not?

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed .     The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.    - Jam 5:16

Effectual Prayer is Prayer that produces results.     Results come from Speaking in Faith .      Fervent Prayer is Prayer that issues from your Heart Faith, from a place of Compassion and earnestness.      We are instructed here to Pray one for another.     This is speaking about the Body of Christ and members Praying for other Members.      We are not to Pray for Unbelievers .     Such Prayers will not be answered.     We are to Witness to Unbelievers so that they become Believers and then we Pray for their other needs .      If a person rejects Christ Jesus they are to suffer the Consequences of their Sin .     Don't ask God to violate His Word .      Remember, it was Jesus' teaching that produced Faith for the Healings that followed.      In the first part of this verse James is not talking about airing dirty laundry.      We are to Confess our offense to the person we offended.

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes you were healed .    - 1Pe 2:24

Jesus' Perfect Finished Work has made us the Righteousness of God .     His broken and beaten body has Healed us.

Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers .    - 3Jn 1:2

Is this just John's wish or is it the Father's also?     If just John's then he is wishing something against the Will Of God .      No, this is from God who Loves us and has given us the keys of the Kingdom and made us joint Heirs with Jesus Christ .

And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast .    - Rev 13:3

I suspect that the head that is wounded to death is America .     The economic path we are on is weakening us so that we will be near death when a 'compromise with the Devil' is done to bring us back.     Because we are 'saved' by the Beast we will begin to worship him.

And he exercises all the power of the first beast before him, and causes the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed .    - Rev 13:12

The False Prophet is the spokesperson for the beast, enabling his agenda and bringing the world under his dominion .

In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations .    - Rev 22:2

The Tree Of Life is the Holy Spirit who is life and gives life to produce fruit .
