Title: Apart from God

If you don't know where you came from, why you are here or where you are going then you are lost.

There is nothing inherently religious about being lost.

Philosophers try to reason out answers to the from-where, why-here and where-to questions.

Nearly everyone ponders those questions at some point in their Lives.

But, these questions have been answered with finality by the Creator of all things.

You are either found in Christ Jesus or you are lost.
For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. -
That is what Jesus does.

When you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ you understand that you were created by Him, that He redeemed you from a fallen state by His own blood, for the purpose of receiving His Holy Spirit and forever being in a oneness relationship with Him.

This is being found.

Scripture :
I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek your servant; for I do not forget your commandments. -

My people has been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their restingplace. -

I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment. -

Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts. -

But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. -
The Lord was honoring His promise to Abraham that through him all the nations of the earth would be blessed.

But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. -
Now He challengers her quality of her faith.

For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. -
All mankind was lost.     It is the Lord's will that every person hear, believe and receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ and be found in Him.

What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, does not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? -
Everyone is important to the Lord.     deplorables are not important to elites.

And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. -
elites consider those who are not elite as expendable.

And when she has found it, she calls her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost. -
Each of us are unimaginably precious to the Lord.

For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.     And they began to be merry. -

It was deserved that we should make merry, and be glad: for this your brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found. -
rejoice in salvation for yourself and others.

For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. -
That is what Jesus does.

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: -
The Gospel is so pure and so powerful that it will pierce through any amount of darkness, except when the hearer turns a deaf ear to it.

When you are really 'lost' you are convinced you are heading in the right direction.

How do we ever know where we are?
We look to those things which are fixed and recognizable.

Those who do not look first to God cannot help but be lost in the truest sense of the word.

Such a person was Charles Darwin and others who have rejected God in their knowledge ending up with Reprobate Minds.
