And the peace of the Holy Spirit, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Phi 4:7 Why does the peace of the Lord pass our understanding?      Since the beginning, religion has taught mankind that the Lord is angry with our behaviour and He must be appeased - that we must do something or stop doing something in order to have peace with Him.      At the heart of this concept is a basic Truth - the spirit of rebellion and the resultant sin separated man from the Lord.      But the idea that good behaviour is what the Lord wanted from man was all wrong.     The Lord wanted an intimate, personal relationship with each of us.      In order for sinful man to be in relationship with his holy Creator, the Lord Himself had to pay the penalty for sin.     And to fix the sin of rebellion, He had to give us a New Spirit - a part of Himself.      So, it is in the amazing Grace of the Lord that peace is established eliminating worries, fears, and doubt while stabilizing our minds and hearts through the perfect work of Christ Jesus.      The peace passes our understanding because the love of the Lord is immeasurable.

Now the Lord of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit. Rom 15:13 Our joy and peace come to us `in believing` In Christ Jesus.     We receive according to our faith in Him.      Hope is positive expectations.      We are to abound in hope.      Our Heavenly Father is not only hopeful Himself but He is the fulfiller of our hopes.      Our joy, peace, faith and hope are directly related to the power of the Holy Spirit working in us.     Eph 3:20 To the extent that we walk in the Holy Spirit we experience the spiritual blessings that are provided to us in Heavenly Places.     Eph 1:3 Those who live their lives apart from the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus have only themselves and mankind in which to hope.      How sad and disapppointing!      It is not in man to direct his own steps.     Jer 10:23 Accordingly, instead of hope, there is a tendency toward hopelessness and expectation of evil.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isa 9:6 This conflicting description of a single being could not have come from a rational mind.     It came from the Holy Spirit who would fulfil these words in Christ Jesus.      Jesus was born of woman and His Holy Spirit and so He is the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father.     This means that the Father begat Himself!      The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Jesus.     Jesus is the body of the Holy Spirit.     We are made in the image of our Creator.     We are Spirit Soul And Body and so also is our Creator.     His name is Jesus.

Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever.     The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this. Isa 9:7 Jesus` Government spans Heaven and Earth and is Eternal.     For a period of time He will sit upon the literal Throne of David in the Millennial Kingdom.     But even after the New Heaven And Earth are created He will still Reign.      The Zeal of the Lord is the Holy Spirit who birthed Jesus, filled Jesus, raised Jesus and Transformed the Body of Jesus.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Isa 53:5 Jesus was guilt free.     The suffering He bore was for us.     The reproach He endured was ours.     In His loving sacrifice He purchased our peace and healing.

For you shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Isa 55:12

Lord, you will ordain peace for us: for you also have wrought all our works in us. Isa 26:12 Salvation is an act of the will of the Lord for us.     When we cast our will to His will we are redeemed and Born Again.     We receive His peace by His Holy Spirit who transforms us according to the Word in us.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you.     Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Joh 14:27 The Lord`s peace is an eternal gift of Himself by His Holy Spirit.     It is not dependent on us except to the extent that we must receive His Spirit and allow Him to manifest that peace.      He will never be withdrawn from us and so His peace will never leave us.      For this reason we should never be disturbed.      The Gospel is the Gospel of peace Eph 6:15.      Share it with every person who is being tormented by Satan through fear.     Set them free!

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me you might have peace.     In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Joh 16:33 The peace that passes understanding is that which delivers us from the Fear Of Death.     Phi 4:7 Heb 2:15 There is nothing that can come against us for which Christ has not made us overcomers.      The world is corrupted by sin which has resulted in hatred, violence, sickness, disease and death.      But we are New Spirit beings In Christ and therefore are more than conquerors in all things.     Rom 8:37 Our Faith In Christ realized by the power of His Holy Spirit in us enables us to face the issues of life unfazed, actually remaining cheerful through them while waiting for victory.

Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and says unto them, Peace be unto you. Joh 20:19

Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father has sent me, even so send I you. Joh 20:21 We are sent to the world with the Gospel of our resurrected Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.      Sent means commanded to go to accomplish a purpose.     That purpose is to preach the Gospel of the kingdom    → as a testimony for salvation to those who believe or    → as a testimony of condemnation for the unbeliever.

And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. Joh 20:26

The word which the Holy Spirit sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:) Act 10:36 We have peace with the Holy Spirit Father by Jesus Christ.     That blood bought reconciliation enables us to receive His Holy Spirit into our lives by virtue of being baptized with Him and in Him.

For he is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Eph 2:14 The `he` in this verse is Christ Jesus.      The `both` in this verse is us and His Holy Spirit.      The `middle wall of partition` in this verse is the veil of the temple Exo 26:33 Mat 27:51 representing sin that separated us from the Holy Spirit.      We are Accepted In The Beloved Eph 1:6.      Christ Jesus has made it possible for us to enter the Holy Of Holies - the very bosom of His Holy Spirit Eph 2:14.      And not only that, He has made it possible for the Holy Spirit Himself to dwell in us through Spirit Baptism Joh 14:17.      We are one with the Holy Spirit through the finished work of Jesus Christ Joh 17:21.

And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were near. Eph 2:17 Jesus did not preach to any of the people in Ephesus.     What Paul is saying is that the Holy Spirit in Jesus and in Paul has preached to the Ephesians and to all people everywhere through those who are submitted to Him.

To all that be in Rome, beloved of the Lord, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from our Holy Spirit Father of the Lord Jesus Christ. Rom 1:7 We are the object of the Lord`s love and recipients of His Grace and peace by virtue of the finished work of Jesus Christ.

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with His Holy Spirit through our Lord Jesus Christ: Rom 5:1 Justified means that no acccusations can stick to us.      Justified is just-as-if-I`d never sinned.      Christ Jesus has reconciled us to Himself by His own blood.      It is our faith in the Faith Of Christ that saves us.      When we believe on Him and receive Him we are actually receiving His Holy Spirit.      Peace is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit.     So, we have peace with the Holy Spirit and we experience peace by the Holy Spirit.

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Rom 8:6 Our mind is that which    → connects our spirit to the physical universe    → receives inputs from our 5 senses    → organizes and prioritizes information    → forms ideas and opinions about the world.      Because we were born with a Sin Nature and we live in a fallen world our minds are corrupt.     We must have our minds renewed so that we cease being Carnal Minded and become Spiritual Minded.      Being Spiritual Minded can only be done    → by our New Spirit being    → operating through our Soul    → which has been transformed by the Word and Holy Spirit.      In that state our thinking, meditations, speech and actions reflect Truth and we experience Abundant Life Carnal Minded is the opposite.         → It is disconnected from the Word and the Holy Spirit.         → It ignores our New Spirit existence.         → It continues to operate in the flesh.      In that state there is only disappointment, discouragement, disillusionment and death.

For the kingdom of heaven is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. Rom 14:17 The Holy Spirit is the Spirit Of Christ Jesus.     When we are In Christ we are in His Holy Spirit and He is in us.     It is by oneness with His Holy Spirit that we reach our design potential.      The Kingdom Of God is the Kingdom Of Heaven.     It is about relationship with the Holy Spirit Father of Christ Jesus, by which we manifest His righteousness, peace, joy and love.      The Kingdom Of God is, first of all, in our minds and hearts.     From there it transforms our thoughts, our words, our actions, our very lives.     Gal 5:25

But the fruit of the Holy Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Gal 5:22 The fruit of the Holy Spirit is supernatural fruit.         → Holy Spirit fruit is powerful and dependable.         → human fruit is weak and fickle - undependable.      Only when you are filled by and walk in the Holy Spirit can you manifest the character and power of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Gal 5:23 Walking in the Spirit makes the Law a moot point.

Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Holy Spirit in the bond of peace. Eph 4:3 This is to the believers.     He is not recommending or expecting peace and unity with unbelievers.      When you endeavor to do a thing, you put effort into accomplishing that thing.     It doesn`t necessarily mean that you will accomplish it.      In order for us to be in unity with someone we must be in agreement.     Even if there is a point of disagreement, we must focus on and yield to the area of our agreement - Christ Jesus.

And let the peace of the Holy Spirit rule in your hearts, to the which also you are called in one body; and be you thankful. Col 3:15 We must willfully and purposefully allow the Lord`s peace to rule in our hearts Likewise we must develop a habit of thanksgiving.      The nature of the fallen world works against peace.      The nature of the human is to take for granted the gifts of life.

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that brings good tidings, that publishes peace; that brings good tidings of good, that publishes salvation; that says unto Zion, Your Lord reigns! Isa 52:7
