How did the Father, the Holy Spirit, honour Him? By empowering Him to do the healings and miracles He did.
Who is His Father who gave Him such commandment? The Holy Spirit. Mat 1:18,20 Luk 1:35
So Jesus come by that authority and power by His own Spirit - the Holy Spirit. no other person was involved.
When He was baptized of John in water He was also baptized with the Holy Spirit who condirmed His faith in the Word.

Why do people, including Christians, not receive the Holy Spirit? They cannot see Him.
We recieve the Holy Spirit by asking in faith just like we received remission of sins and were Born Again.
If you have not been baptized with the Holy Spirit, the Father, you need to be. This is His desire for you and of you, He wants intimate, personal relationship with you.
The reality is that many believers do not want to manifest as Sons Of The Holy Spirit. They are content to just miss hell and enter heaven when they die.
But without the baptism of the Holy Spirit believers are ineffective as witnessed by the decline of the church and the secularization of society.
Jesus commanded the disciples to tarry in jerusalem until they received the power of the Holy Spirit. Only then were they to go forth preaching the Gospel of the kingdom.
If the disciples who walked with Jesus needed Spirit Baptism, on what basis do believers think that they do not?
The Father ( Holy Spirit) wants to give Himself to you as you offer yourself to Him as a living sacrifice in the same way Christ Jesus did. Rom 12:1 → The Father will never leave you nor forsake you. Heb 13:5 → He is the friend that sticks closer than a brother. → He will teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance. → He will be an ever present help in time of need. → He will empower you to teach, to heal, to deliver and to make disciples of others.
The Holy Spirit in you is the revelation and fulfilment of the Mystery Hidden regarding creation and the purpose of life here on earth. Col 1:27
