Title: The revelation of Jesus Christ

revelation is to be desired above all other knowledge.

Why?

Revelation is not obtainable by personal effort.

Revelation is not the same as understanding.   A person may gain insight into a subject and discover more information about that subject that was there all along.   This is understanding.

Revelation comes from the Spirit realm - heaven.   It comes from the Lord.

The best example of revelation is the book of Genesis.   Moses lived 2500 years after the events recorded in the first 3 chapters of Genesis.   He did not record any of this information as "I heard that" or "it was passed down" or "legend has it".

Moses stated what actually happened 2500 years before he was born because the Lord revealed it to him.   That is revelation.

Paul was given the revelation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.   His writings were inspired by Holy Spirit to teach us things for which Jesus laid Only the foundation.   That is revelation.
But I certify you, brothers, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
The pure Gospel has no elements of man's rationality in it.

For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit revealed the Gospel to Paul.

Understanding that Jesus meant what He said about faith, freedom, life, love, healing authority and power is revelation.
Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
faith in Christ and love for the saints is evidence of the New Spirit.

Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
We should be thankful for each our fellow believers and we should pray for them.

That The Father our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
The Father of our Lord Jesus Christ is His Holy Spirit.     By receiving the Gospel of Grace Through Faith In Christ Jesus:
we are Born Again of the Word and Holy Spirit as New Spirit beings
we become one with the Father
the Holy Spirit is made known to us
we understand Him to be the Spirit Of Wisdom And Revelation
by Him we grow in Grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
in the knowledge of Christ and the power of His Holy Spirit we become effective witnesses of the Truth.

This prayer is answered in proportion to our hunger and thirst for righteousness, to the extent that we seek to know and experience more of the Lord.

The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
When your understanding is perfect you can visualize what you know.
You begin to see into the Spirit Realm the Truth of the Lord's Word by revelation of the Holy Spirit.
You begin to fathom what it means to be In Christ, to be a joint-heir with Christ.
You begin to be an effective witness for Christ because of that revelation.

And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
The Lord has turned His power over to us to do the work of Christ on His behalf.

We are in partnership with the Lord.     We provide the mind and body and He provides the Word and the Spirit.     Until we understand this arrangement we will not see the power of the Lord manifested through us.

Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
So the power of the Holy Spirit was transferred to Christ who has transferred it to us through Spirit Baptism.

Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
The transfer of power and authority is complete.     There is no power but of the Holy Spirit who has entrusted it to Christ Jesus who has entrusted it to us His stewards through Spirit Baptism and receiving the Mind Of Christ.

And has put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
All things are under Christ including us in the church of which He is head.

Which is his body, the fulness of him that fills all in all.
So the church is the body of Christ and it is to manifest the Fulness Of God who fills all of us by His Holy Spirit.

Without revelation we do not believe as we should; we do not speak as we should; We do not experience what we should.

Without Revelation we simply do not manifest as sons of the Lord.

Jesus said it was given unto us to know the mysteries of the kingdom - a spiritual kingdom that operates on spiritual laws and has power over the natural world.

Jesus instructed us to ask, seek and knock for what we desire.   He instructed us to Hunger and Thirst for Him.

For those who do they will be Given, they will Find, it will be Opened and they will be filled.

Be Highly Educated.   Ask Christ Jesus to reveal His love, His gifts and His mind to you
