Our society is sick in many respects.   Animal loving is one of them.   

Spending billions of dollars on Animal care while there are millions of starving and suffering humans does not amuse God.   Of that I am quite sure.   

There is no indication in the Bible that God cares one bit for Animals.   Why would He have commanded the slaughter of all sorts of Animals in Sacrifice (which could never remove Sin ) if He cared about them?   Why wouldn't there have been a "love thy Animal as thyself" commandment somewhere in the Bible ?   

I am not a Presbyterian but they have it exactly right on this issue.   There is no doubt in my mind that all the Animals that have ever lived are not worth the price of one Human being from God's perspective.   

Tell that to a real Animal lover and watch their hatred come against a Human being (you) on behalf of an Animal.   

If you are an Animal lover, how do you feel towards me now?   

Will bacteria go to Heaven ?   After all they are Animals , too!   

Oh, I see, it's just the pretty, playful Animals that go to Heaven.
