Title: Who are we talking to when we address God?

God is the generic name for deity.   It is not the name of anyone, especially not the name of our Creator.

Why do we persist in referencing God?   We might as well be saying "Oh deity" when we say "Oh God".

The reality is that our Creator went to the trouble of birthing Himself through a virgin who was commanded to call Him Jesus.

Now that our Creator has a name, why would we call Him Creator, Deity or God?   Each of those terms are descriptive but not personal.

None of us like to be addressed as 'you'.   We want people to call our name when addressing us.   So does our Creator.   He responds to His name, Jesus.

Stop calling the Lord Jesus Christ, God!
Stop denigrating the Holy Spirit who is the Spirit Of Christ, who is our Heavenly Father.
Stop talking to another 'person' (God?) whom we cannot know and who actually does not exist.

The Holy Spirit is our Creator, our Father.   He is the Spirit Of Christ Jesus.   He has ordained that all His power and authority be manifested through Christ Jesus who is His express image, His Body.

When our Creator decided on His name, He wanted to be known as Saviour.   That is why He called Himself Jesus.
Let's respect our Creator by calling Him by His name!

Jesus is Lord!
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of the Holy Spirit. -
All humanity will speak in confession that Jesus is Lord and thus glorify the Father whose plan He fulfilled.

Who is the Father?     Holy Spirit.

It was the Holy Spirit that impregnated Mary.     It was the Holy Spirit that was in Jesus empowering Him to speak and do His will.

Jesus said if you have seen me you have seen the Father.
Jesus is the body of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit Of Christ Jesus.
