Time zones make no sense in the 21st century.
With the proliferation of communications and travel, the need to standardize the time of day is obvious.
Why should you have to do a mathematical calculation to determine when you are going to meet with someone in a different time zone?
It should not be possible to arrive at a destination before you left (assuming you are from this planet).
Why do we need to adjust our clocks two times a year to further exacerbate chronology?
Why not just accept Greenwich time as the time of day for the whole world? This seems like a way the United Nations could be useful.
