EditResolutionEdit ResolutionThe Edit Resolution form allows you to work the selected case for which an edit failure has occurred.

You should:

  1. enter the appropriate value for the problematic response value and a
  2. reason for the change and then
  3. click on UPDATE
The new response value will be inserted into the Responses table and the form will be re-edited. It is possible that the value you enter does not correct the problem. It is also possible that the value you enter results in a pass edit for that item but sets another item on the form to fail edit.

A Changes record will be created for the transaction logging the old and new values for the response as well as who made the change and when it was made.

When all the problematic responses have been processed for the case the form notifies you with one of two prompts: `to work the next case` or `that there are no more cases with edit failures`. Clicking on the prompt to work the next case will display the list of cases with one or more fail edits.

The table at the bottom of the form is a listing of all the form elements where the current edit resolution items originated. You may click on one of these items to set the fail-edit flag for that item to `ON`. This will allow you to edit that item in the case that it is in error.
